I swore up and down he was gay before he met her. He had these purple glitter curtains in his master bedroom. I loved them so I got some cheap ones online. He spent so much time and money at anthropology. He was pretty down to earth though. When she moved in he became mr hollywood. Too good for everyone. Their house soon became filled with GIANT photos of them, everywhere. She would wander the house singing (and to be honest not as great as I would expect!)- they never tipped and were very demanding. His assistant texted me on a Sunday when my shop was closed needing to fill the house with flowers within a couple of hours. They didn’t seem to understand that we didn’t have a shipment of flowers u til the next day. They expected me to drive hours to meet a semi truck in the mountains and get flowers for them. I did what I could do with the resources I had and of course not a single thank you, and they didn’t wAnt to pay the bill! Getting money from them was a joke. It made me realize how the rich stay rich- they don’t have to spend their money because they expect everything free.

I used to be Russell’s florist before they met and up until their daughter was born. Definitely an interesting time and seeing him before and after her. When he bought the house they lived in here in Seattle I went and did set ups for his flowers every couple of weeks or so. Very weird vibes there.

I think one of the main reasons it didn’t happen or at least stopped happening for Ciara is that she tried crossover sound and it really didn’t resonate with audiences who want her in the specific R&b and crunk&b lane she kept putting out the more pop sounds and people just kind of threw her away. Lot of stuff on her album Jackie sounds like something for a Disney movie or a pride parade but not for charts and clubs
