As a series fan, I thought 8 episodes was a good amount of time to explain the mystery, I think if it was 12 or 10 episodes it would become either too confusing or too boring and drawn out.

I am with you! They should have produced a new song for the main couple in 4 minutes!! I agree, it was cheap.
