I felt like the pacing these 4 episodes was off after the arc started off with awesome pacing, so I looked it up and the entire subplot of Goku and Yajirobe finding the divine water was anime-only filler. In the manga, Korin just immediately hands Goku the water. Man I wish there was a re-paced cut of OGDB or something lol. Also all the scenes with the civilians (the kind king, Android 8, Suno, etc) are all anime-only filler. My guess is that the anime was quickly approaching the manga and they had to temporarily slow down the pace to let the manga get ahead. Hopefully this means the pacing will return to normal soon!!
