2024-10-26 14:23:18 +0000 UTCDB began as a gag manga by Toriyama, who was a gag manga artist. Nothing makes this more obvious than a talking rabbit who flew to the moon lol. As the story went on, Toriyama ditched the gags and instead took it into a direction that would be considered the birth of modern shonen. Watching original DB is really interesting because you get to see this gradual shift in real time. I don’t blame you for being confused by this episode tho lol, I don’t exactly come back to it…
