Wedding Night (Continuation)

So I never finished the comic 'Wedding Night' that I was working on.  I got some feedback that there were people who were surprised with the change in tone between that and my previous comic (Rooftop Rendezvous).  I always felt super bad about that. :(

That said, I have actually worked on the continuation of Wedding Night, which featured a scene with the 'couple' on a beach, wherein the mysterious third party makes an appearance.  Then it was to continue with a scene at a fancy, beachside restaurant, after dark.  And then one or two more scenes before it was done.  In all it represents a pretty big comic, probably 30+ pages to complete the whole 'story'.

Full disclosure, in the story the 'grey' guy, 'Steve,' and his wife 'Kannon' never find out that she's having sex with this other dude, and their relationship remains pretty wholesome.  I think in the end she has the other guy's kids, but both are unaware of who the actual father is, and neither cares about any of the inconsistencies.  I dunno, maybe that makes the story worse for some readers, but that's where I was going with it.

I dunno.  Post your opinions in the comments below.  Did you like the initial concept?  Does the full disclosure change your opinion of the comic?  Do you want to see more, or would you rather see other projects?

OH!  One last thing.  I cropped this image in landscape AND in portrait?  But both looked so good I couldn't decide!  Feel free to let me know which you prefer!

Your initial concept is exactly where I wanted the comic to go. Honestly, as far as these types of stories go, the people involved remaining a happy couple is such a breath of fresh air (the obliviousness from both adds a lighthearted tone to it too since it's meant to be comedic in context). I'd love to see a continuation of it at some point! I'd say you have a solid plan for it; it certainly pushes all the right buttons. Also, I like the landscape one the best. Makes it seem more like a photo that they'd keep as a happy memory of the honeymoon while thinking the big dude is just some random guy who happened to stroll by when it was taken (again, since their expressions make it seem like they're oblivious to him being present at all).

I think you should complete your vision of Wedding night. To be honest I was kinda shook when I first read the comic( oh by the way you need to have a place where people can purchase your older works because it took a lot for me to find you on patreon.) But if you choose to finish it, no matter how you do it. Its gonna be good. So get after it!

On the topic of tone I've seen deeper and darker, but to compare with your other pieces; for example you had the adventurer girls be at the mercy of skeletons and Amazonians and the tone there I think is about the same. What you've said about Steve and Kannon not caring about the inconsistences leaves me thinking that they would be the kind of couple that would go looking for a third wheel. I know of a couple artists that establish that a lot of their characters/stories are in a very promiscuously fueled world. I would definitely like to see more of this comic myself because Kannon definitely checkmarks some of the boxes. I like the focus of the portrait for two reasons, but some might prefer landscape for four reasons.
