2021-01-25 19:28:48 +0000 UTCI don't condone violence in any way and Brooke punching Alex was both out of line and so out of character. That being said, Brooke being petty was funny. In an episode that otherwise had me crying every other second it was nice with those scenes where I could laugh. I'm also glad to see Brulian back together, best part about the episode. Not a fan of the Katie storyline at all. The psychopath storyline is a bit played out and though it makes for some interesting drama I wish they had gone in another direction. However, I loved seeing Candice Patton playing the role of her friend. Your reaction to her appearing on your screen was adorable.

2021-01-25 12:00:32 +0000 UTCThat scene with Taylor breaking down in the hospital talking about how sheâs not special or talented is probably the part that gets me the most in this episode. I donât know why. Maybe itâs because sheâs finally dropping this mask that she puts on for the world and is being vulnerable. Taylor acts very selfish and narcissistic but you can really see how sheâs actually just very insecure. I have to admit I got a little teary eyed a couple times in this one. I also totally agree about the way Brooke behaved. I think it was funny, but it does seem like something high school Brooke would do, not really something adult Brooke would do. The wardrobe thing wasnât a big deal because obviously she probably had something else for him to wear. That was just her being petty. But punching Alex was very out of line and unprofessional. Especially for her to do it on the set in front of the whole cast and crew. But at least Brulian is back together, so it all worked out in the end. I was actually really pleased with the way Alex handled it. Sheâs really grown a lot since she arrived and I love her so much.

2021-01-25 07:55:03 +0000 UTCJosh is... an interesting character. Letâs say that. I donât want to give anything away. But yeah, heâs definitely a creep for the whole secret sex tape thing. The fact he has his laptop there ready to record. It tells me he probably does this a lot, unless Alex told him she was coming and then he just set it up, but I find it more likely this isnât his first time filming a sex tape which is gross especially since itâs obvious none of them would give consent to being recorded and would be unaware that such recordings exist. Taylor is such an interesting character. Sheâs so unlikable and yet, I understand her. While we donât know much about the other siblings, we do know that everyone pretty much has their own thing going for them, but specifically Haley and Quinn who are Taylorâs closest siblings are both successful in their own rights. And itâs later shown that their mom overall seems to kind of favor Quinn and Haley in a way that makes Taylor jealous of the relationship they have and the success both of them have. Haley has her singing career and has always been a scholarly student and Quinn has her creative nature and photography career. Meanwhile Taylor doesnât seem to have anything going for her in terms of something to show for. Sheâs not as smart as Haley and not as creative as Quinn is. She relies on her appearance, but that can only get you so far. Taylor is also I believe the second oldest daughter (Vivian being the oldest) which also means that Taylor probably feels jealous that her YOUNGER sisters are so much more successful than she is when she should be more successful than them in her eyes because sheâs older than both. We donât know where the brothers or Vivian is, but we can imagine they are most likely successful in some sort of way leaving Taylor feeling isolated and like sheâs a disappointment because sheâs nowhere near the success story of her siblings. I think the reason sheâs such a mess is simply sheâs envious of her siblings and feels the need to bring them down in order to make herself seem better by doing things that they canât like stealing all of Quinnâs boyfriends or rubbing in the fact she was Nathanâs first. She takes every opportunity to prove sheâs better because she believes sheâs inferior otherwise. The whole Brulian and AlexAlex situation is... interesting. I also like how the episodes in this case donât mislead you at all. If you pay attention, you can pretty easily put all the pieces together especially since you can understand why Alex thought that Brooke was upset over her sleeping with Alexander since heâs her employee. It is kinda funny and iconic though how the whole thing unfolds.

2021-01-25 07:02:08 +0000 UTCI gotta say I totally agree with you about Mouth and Lauren being boring. I usually skip their scenes during a rewatch đ Love that Skills is back and I did love the dynamic in 7x19 because its gonna bring some much needed laughs after 7x18.
