Sad tidings in this one. CW: death, grief, loss.
I took a week off of work to support Lizzi during this family situation, thinking optimistically that I'd have extra time to catch up on my audios on the margins. Realistically, I couldn't have prepared for how hard this week would hit. Some limitations can't be powered through. With a better understanding of this, in the future I will communicate better with you when absences like this are on the horizon.
I could feel you all missing me in the meantime. My sincerest apologies for the delay. I will be your Friday morning fella again in about five days. That's a promise.

To walk a loved one to the riverbank of life, to witness the crossover, is one of lifes most beautiful brutal honors. I won’t presume to know your familiarity with grief, but offer to anyone reading this that whatever shape grief takes—today, tomorrow, 8 years from now—is right. It’s a wave you ride and often two diametrically opposed feelings can be felt at once and both be true. May their memory be a blessing.
