Just concurring with everyone else's comments. Polls are not necessary, do what you feel like doing. That always results in the best work, for any artist in any medium. And of course, longer animations would be awesome, even if it means less of them. And lastly, I would personally like to see you keep your focus on Overwatch, but I fully understand and support the idea of exploring other characters. Again, do what inspires and compels you, first and foremost.

I totally wouldn't mind longer video even if it meant fewer uploads. And for the characters I agree with others saying suggestions instead of a strict vote, and I wouldn't mind for a complete removal of any voting system. Also could be cool to have a broader range of characters (like outside of OW)

I agree with what I’m seeing in some other comments, I think a character suggestion thread as opposed to a poll might be nice. You’re not obligated to do a particular character, while still having some community engagement. And it certainly doesn’t need to be a suggested character for every animation, you should choose what you want to do, too. Your work will be much better if you’re actually interested in it and engaged yourself! Also, no complaints here about longer projects. I love the longer videos. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got in mind!

Just like everyone else here, I am fine with no polls. I already had no interest in them and just kinda wait for a release. If it's for a longer project, then yes it would be a cheap price.

As someone who enjoys your creations. I'm cool with you getting rid of polls so you can let your creativity fly high. In the end, quality for me is more important than quantity, so longer projects but with the same or more quality than you normally deliver is a deal. I could live without polls - they definitely make things too predictable. A "suggestions" thread would probably be more fun, and people would tend to suggest characters that they normally wouldn't - with poll suggestions, you get a lot of "I won't mention my favorite, because she won't get votes compared to the current trendy characters." Mostly, though, if you're lacking in inspiration, get out and do some stuff to clear your head and your heart.

Nothing worse than feeling cornered and losing motivation due to creative limitations. Get rid of the polls if you have to. You do you.

I think longer projects, with less frequent uploads, is probably ideal. Those larger projects end up being more memorable- for example, your "Stripper Dva" clip (which ran for 1+ minute) is probably your magnum opus. In terms of character selection, do you mean outside of OW or OW characters? Might be a touchy subject, but the reason that Widow, Mercy, Dva, Tracer, Brig dominate the polls is cuz they're the hottest characters (at least in terms of public opinion, by a longshot). I feel like making a high effort animation with Sym or Zar instead of one of the aforementioned is kind of a waste, at least personally.

As long as we all agree the best character to make longer animations is Pharah, I guess I'm ok with no polls ! Just kidding. Mercy is ok too. On a more serious note, as a fellow creator, my best advice would be: Do what you want, not what people expect. We support you because we like your work, we're not buying animations. If you prefer to go for longer animations (Which I'm all the way in for!), then do it! I'm actually pretty interested to see what you could come up with in 5-10min shorts (Which will already be a pain for rendering, unless you invest in a farm, but if you want to hit the 30 marker, be my guest!). I don't mind no polls, but would appreciate having suggestions for characters. In polls it seems like the same character gets voted.
