After the pretty fast paced update weeks, I'm afraid this one is a slow one as I was pretty much out with a cold for most of the week x_X But still, there are a couple of things to report on for this prerelease!

First of all, I added the first event in the Charlotte Corruption event chain (now called "Lady Charlotte"). It mirrors the Hermann event sequence quite a bit but with Aura's manipulation of Charlotte's soul being the corrupting influence instead of the magic ring and instead of bimbofication, Victor wants his futrue spouse to be more "Lady-like".

To trigger the event, there is a new Vice choice with new a new accompanying scene of Aura doing some work on Charlotte's soul. I also added a variable to track Aura's proficiency with Soul Contracts a bit so depending on whether Paulina or Charlotte get manipulated first, some comments may appear in one or the other.

Note that it's technically classified as a lewd event, but the first corruption event really doesn't have any lewd content :'D I mostly use it define Charlotte's and Victor's initial relationship as they haven't been actually shown interacting before and only been reported on through Victor.

Finally, since Victor likes his girls with big boobs, instead of maid training, Charlotte gets some magic pills which turn magical power into boobsize - their effect enhanced by 100x through the Soul Contract so it doesn't take years for them to show effects but only 10 days.

Speaking of passives, I used my "downtime" to do some easy improvements I had been thinking about for a while. The mechanic that reduces the effective willpower during a lewd check by the sensitivity and fetish of the scene always was a bit too hidden, so I decided to turn it into the ability of a new set of passives: Desire passives.

These new passives appear when you cross the treshold value of 5 at a sensitvity or fetish value. Once they do, they unlock the mechanic in an explicit way that you can read up on in the skill descriptions. I could have of course also introduced the mechanic through a tutorial message, but I believe there is already enough complexity at the start of the game, so moving the activation of this mechanic a bit behind seemed like a way to create a little more sense of progression.

Another passive that got a touch-up, are the Curiosity Passives. I didn't like that they had effectively no impact if they didn't cause a pink scene. The rework gives Curiosities the ability to gain the extra sensitivity/fetish increase for the assosiated stat regardless of the scene being pink or not - until stat 5 to keep the theme of being mostly useful in the beginning. The -25 Willpower debuff on checks also applies to the new threshold 5, making the mental change a bit more useful in general.

The threshold 5 was of course chosen because that's where you get the Desire passive, creating a bit of a handover mechanical effect.

Lastly, the final major addition is from our assistant developer Trihan who finished the Locations category of the Compendium. If you have forgotten stuff about a location, you can refresh your memory in here - including as to how the location looked on the Overworld!

Furthermore, you can directly teleport from the Locations menu to the shrine of a location - provided that you unlocked said shrine. To get a list of notable NPCs in a location, you can select the Social button instead which will then navigate you to the corresponding entry in the Social category.

And that's it for today! So yeah, not a lot of content today sadly, but we do have some mechanical updates and QoL improvements to hopefully make up for it! Oh yeah, and I also integrated the new Alicia pixel art sprite I posted about this week.
