Chapter 13 – Carry Penipeni

「……Erio. I’m finished with the dismantling over here.」

「Good work. I also just finished with dismantling the upper and lower turtle heads. We can stop here for now I guess.」

After Sister Claire suddenly disappeared.

Alicia and I returned to that underground cavern and dismantled the corpse of the giant Rock Turtle that we left there.

「The dismantling is easier than expected but……this amount is astonishing.」

It was just as Alicia said. The amount of high quality rock crystal  that we could harvest from the giant Rock Turtle was astonishing. We  would need many carriages if we wanted to carry them all in one go.

On top of that we were right in the middle of a forest where a lot of monsters were living.

It would take a lot of time and effort to bring back these materials  if we didn’t have rare skill like item box or special magic item.

But the current me had the method to transport these materials to the faraway fortress city in one go.

It was by using Local Wife, the instant movement skill that was excellent in all respect except its name.

「We might be loading up too much, but let’s try testing with this amount for now.」

I also asked Alicia to help so I could shoulder a lot of Rock Crystal on my back.

Local Wife could also teleport cloth and luggage that the target wore and carried to come along.

From there I pondered if it could also be used to bring back a lot of materials that were harvested from monster nest.

I still didn’t know how much amount I could bring with me in one  travel though. So the usefulness of this trick could only be decided  depending on the experiment result.

「Then let’s test it……Local Wife!」

I activated the skill after checking that the Armor Ant Queen demon,  Regina was currently at the temporary lodging that the guild gave to  her.

Then the scenery in front of me instantly changed――

Even though I recently felt relieved because she stopped waiting for me while naked!

But the amount of rock crystal remaining on my back right now was  around four or five large barrels worth. This safely proved that Local  Wife skill was also useful for transporting a large amount of materials.

It was more than satisfactory that it could bring this much.

The Mighty Mana Crystal that Sister Claire gave me couldn’t be  returned right now. And it didn’t have a limited time of use although it  had limited service life, so I decided to not let it go to waste and  wear it on my body.

I turned it into a necklace and hid it under my clothes.

I could feel the mana consumption when using Local Wife had been remarkably reduced.

Knowing that this rock was the actual Mighty Mana Crystal made me  felt a bit scared. Even so I continued transporting the crystals.

After I finished teleporting all the rock crystals inside Regina’s temporary lodging.

Alicia and I said farewell to the people of Vestal Village, then we  used Local Wife to go back to the fortress city. (We left the village by  walking while carrying a part of the crystals on our back so that we  wouldn’t get suspected, then we used Local Wife in the middle of the  highway)

Now we loaded the rock crystals into carriage and headed to the merchant guild.

It would make us stood out in a bad way if we brought too much in one  go, so for now we only brought the amount that Rouge-san requested us  to bring.

Rouge-san had helped us a lot. I hoped this would make her happy.

And then when Alicia and I arrived at the merchant guild’s clearing that was used to deal with large quantity of goods,

「Ah, Rouge-san, nice timing.」

I caught sight of Rouge-san there. It was a lucky coincidence.

I still hadn’t taken care of the procedure for delivery of goods, but  I wanted to tell Rouge-san quickly about our success in securing a lot  of high quality materials, so I called out to her.

Then,

「Hm? Why are you two back already?」

「Yes, actually we had finished the material gathering quicker than planned.」

Rouge-san squinted her eyes in puzzlement when she saw Alicia and me, so I told her the truth.

Rouge-san said 「Aa?」 while smoking on her pipe.

「Even if it’s you two it should take six days just to make a round  trip from here to Vestal Village. It’s impossible that you already  finished with the material gathering in just four days. Furthermore the  amount that I requested from you two is quite a lot……eh」

Rouge-san stopped speaking there.

The cloth that was put over the carriage was flipped and she caught sight of the rock crystal that we brought.

Then her eyes were filled with light of appraisal. Immediately after that,

「……Aa!? Highest quality rock crystals!? You two obtained all of these in just four daysss!?」

Wait, your voice is too loud Rouge-san!

Though I guess I can’t say that seeing that I’m the one who tried to make you happy and caught you by surprise like this!

Then Rouge-san too noticed about her lost of control.

「That was unsightly of me. I unconsciously yelled because of how  surprising this is……. ……There are too many people here. I’ll listen to  your story at the usual private room.」

Rouge-san said that and dragged Alicia and I into the merchant  guild’s reception office. For some reason she was more concerned about  the surrounding’s attention even more than us.

「……I seee, so you encountered a boss monster. In that case I can see  how you managed to get your hand on this much high quality rock  crystals.」

After we were led to the private room that we usually used for contract renewal for the penis sale.

Rouge-san listened to the story of how we obtained the materials. She  nodded with a gleam in her eyes seeing the rock crystals we brought.

「Kekekeh, with the appraisal crystal bubble still continuing right  now, we will make a killing if we have more than ten carts of highest  quality materials. It looks like my instinct wasn’t wrong in entrusting  this quest to you two. I’ll notify the adventurer guild that you two  have completed the quest with the score of S. Rouge-san showered Alicia and I with praise while her eyes looked  like gold coin, but then her expression suddenly turned serious.

「I understand now the reason how you two got your hands on so many  materials, buut, how did you two manage to return here in just four  days? Even if you two have Gift with really high physical ability, being  able to transport this much material so quickly like that is absurd……」

I spoke honestly about my instant teleportation skill to answer Rouge-san’s reasonable doubt.

From the start I had planned to tell Rouge-san about this skill.

Rouge-san who was stunned from the shock that surpassed even the time  when she saw the highest quality rock crystal suddenly burst into  laughter loudly.

「A-ahaha.」

Rouge-san’s eyes gleamed from curiosity. I dodged the question with a wry smile.

Rouge-san puffed out smoke from her mouth seeing me like that.

「Good grief. All my efforts to hurriedly arranged for a penis  exclusive carrier in preparation when you two leave this city are wasted  noow.」

Right after Rouge-san muttered that,

I decided to forget about the girl after Rouge-san said that.

After all the person who was described in there was……a beautiful girl with silver hair and blue eyes.

「……Is this……me……?」

The Sacred Knight girl Alicia who ran away from the kingdom to follow  after me read the notification while muttering from my side.

Carry: Ah, come to think of it I still haven’t introduced myself. My  name is Carry Penipeni! A capable half-elf who can use powerful wind  magic! Nice to make your acquaintance!

Carry: You must be the penis maker Eriol-san! There won’t be many  chance for us to get involved with other from here on seeing that I have  avoided the penis transportation duty but, our meeting here too must be  some kind of fate. Let’s get along! Other than the penis transportation  matter!
