Before the Summer Holiday

「Now, everyone, let’s get leaner before summer!」

In the fitness club that Akito attended.

Today too the old man teaching there who was called sensei was  energetically talking to everyone to train their body before summer.

「Isn’t this an expensive place? Will we be okay with the hotel fee?」

Maya shook her head.

「Well, it’s an expensive hotel but, we’re receiving invitation this time so we won’t need to pay to stay there.」

It had great facilities, but apparently it wasn’t a high class resort spot.

Certainly the hotel was expensive, but there were also other lodging facilities than that with more affordable price.

「Is it okay for us to stay in this kind of place?」

「It’s not a problem. Li──an uncle I’m acquainted with is a big-wig there after all.」

Maya didn’t mention that it was the president of the company that was managing the place. She showed the ticket to Akito.

「That’s great then……but, there will be just president, senpai, and me  right? I don’t think it’ll be good for the three of us to stay in one  room.」

Maya was grinning outside of Akito’s sight.

「That’s not a problem. It’s a bit expensive room, so it has more than  one bedroom. As expected in this season, it’s difficult to book a lot  of rooms. They only have this room left for us.」

It was a room for family use, so it had two bedrooms prepared in it.

「Then that’s fine.」

「You’re thinking too much. Also we’re going to stay in the hotel for  two days. You can just think of it as a trip of three days and two  nights.」

Akito was looking forward to the trip when he heard that it would be for three days and two nights.

Even Maya could see how excited he was.

Akito said.

「That’s amazing. We can stay at a hotel like this for two nights!」

Maya regretted that.

Approaching the information broker who was riding such floating vehicle was a tall woman with short black hair.

「Looks like things are going well. I guess the service will resume at September at this rate?」

The information broker didn’t turn around toward the woman. He operated the device in his hand and projected an image.

The egg shaped vehicle was one of the technologies that were brought from moon.

The woman [Mira] took off her sunglasses.

The information broker showed a data to Mira.

She was also there during the attack on moon. She was someone really close to the information broker.

The information broker continued explaining.

Mira narrowed her eyes while reading the data.

「……I wonder where are they hiding? I’ll be able to move our force right away if we know that.」

The information broker stuffed his mouth with junk food and washed it down with carbonated drink.

「I can’t pinpoint the location. That’s why, the plan should quickly──」

Then Mira kicked the information broker’s vehicle.

The information broker fell out of the kicked vehicle and became unable to stand up.

「W-what are you doing!」

The information broker protested. In respond Mira stepped on his head and replied.

「A rat that know inside information and yet its location is unknown?  I’ll tell you something good. That’s not what you can call a rat. I  don’t know whether it’s an individual or an organization but……it’s not  something that we can just leave alone.」

The information broker answered while getting his head pressed on the floor by the irritated Mira.

「I-I get it. I’ll investigate it right away. That’s why let go.」

Mira removed her foot from the information broker and took out her smartphone.

The signal was bad so she left the room.

「Deal with it right away. Also, be quick with the plan.」

The information broker watched Mira’s receding back while somehow  getting back on his feet. He had a hard time getting back on the  vehicle.

In the end, he borrowed the help of some workers to get back on his vehicle before going out of the room.

「Don’t screw with me. That woman……acting like she’s that person’s right hand man」

At a resort area.

The former minister was renting a lodging facility there since some time ago.

The orc players were gathering there.

One of them, a woman was putting her hand on her ear.

The woman grinned when the former minister turned his gaze to her.

「It seems someone entered the dummy.」

Hearing that, a man who seemed to be in military crossed his arms while sighing a little.

「Finally huh. They really took their sweet time.」

The former executive displayed a data on his tablet and placed it on the table.

「Those guys have finished preparing. If we want to stop their plan  now, the only way is to directly infiltrate the facility where they put  the server.」

The woman put her hand on her chin.

「So we’ll need to copy what they did.」
