NOTICE: Issue with Payment & Impact on Game Update

Hi everyone, Libra here. I wanted to update everyone about the current status of the team and how it may affect the upcoming update's development.

What's the issue?

Two days ago about 3/8/2023 you may have been aware of an issue affecting numerous Patreon users and their payouts. Primarily many experienced their supporters payment being declined and a subset of Patreon Creators who attempted to withdraw their payouts found them declined and sent back to the respective Patreon accounts.

The latter has occurred to WTDL and we have encountered some inaccuracies with the refunded payment. The issue was resolved as of 5/8/2023, but the payout process is still ongoing.

2. Following the Patreon incident, itch.io completed its payout of the Queer Bundle that WTDL took part in, but the payment was cancelled and as of 5/8/2023 the payment has not been returned to the itch.io account. We are in contact with itch.io support to correct this. However, there has been no news on it.

How does this affect the update?

Without sugar coating it the delay in funding has forced the project to also delay members of the team from starting their tasks, as I want to make sure all members get their agreed upon payment for any work they do.

So, for update 0.11 this is a notice that its Patreon release will be delayed to September, tentatively end of September but if we can get it done sooner I'll let everyone know. Progress will depend on the success of the Patreon payout.

I will apologize that you all have to wait a bit longer for the update. I know money doesn't come easy, and for members who may not be able to stick around you will receive a personal message with a link to the update if you were supporting during the process of 0.11's update. So we got you covered.
