Yeah... this episode is intense. I'd love to write all my thoughts at this point, but that ending scene gets me too deep. RIP Nacho. No spoilers, but intensity gonna build. just sayin'. Have a lovely weekend, Tyler!

Such a powerful episode. I'm not a religious person at all, but all the christian symbolism really gets to me in this one. I love Nacho having to be clever and resourceful just to get an edge and make a sacrifice to keep his father safe. I don't think Nacho is the most good character... but perhaps the most brave and heroic. Also with Kim, I have this whole theory that she's still in love with Jimmy but has basically given up on trying helping him be anything good. And if he's going to just go down this Saul path she can just use it to her own advantage... I think that's what is meant by her throwing the World's (2nd) Best Lawyer cup away. Kim is so pragmatic, and this pro bono work has given her an out follow an ends justify the means morality... including with Jimmy. Even through all this I still think she still cares for him... but any attempt to steer his path(like she tried to before) is a lost cause. I always put it at the Bagman episode where she pleads for him to not go to the desert and he just does it anyway... he has a addiction to this life and she is powerless to stop it. I also love the contrast with Kim and Walt even more this season, because her justification for 'breaking bad' to do the pro bono work is arguably more altruistic and grey than Walt's. Because Walt always had the ego issues, and he could have just taken Gretchen and Eliot's offer and solved all his family problems. Kim is truly trying to sacrifice herself and do good for the world, and the show has given us plenty of examples of her fighting for real justice in an unfair system. But once you cross that threshold, I'm willing to do bad things and I'm above the system and can right the wrongs... there's no difference between this and a villain.
