🥹💙 I feel the same. And thank you. I've finished all my shows now (barring Buffy of course), and there's a sense of accomplishment sure, but also sadness that it's over. Thank you for watching 😊

I was not aware of these low-stakes fantasy novels so thank you for telling me about those 👀 haha. Interesting!

"I've waffled on this episode" - no you haven't, we love hearing your thoughts!! I hope the next episode is double the waffles :-) Honestly, i feel like I need a better word than "bittersweet" to describe how I'm feeling about the wait for you to release your reaction to the last episode... On one hand, I am as giddy as a toddler at a circus in anticipation to watch the epic series finale of one of my favourite tv shows of all time with my favourite series reactor. On the other hand, I'm so sad that we're at the end! It's like reaching the last chapter in a fantastic book, so keen to experience the fabulous conclusion, but so sad it's over. Thank goodness there's seven seasons of Buffy :-)

Your comments on the restaurant from season one make complete sense - it's the kind of "paradise" that only someone entrenched in a capitalist world - the world we live in - would dream up, because it's focused on business, not love of the craft. I have the same issue with the current trend in low-stakes fantasy novels set in coffee shops or bookshops - running a shop isn't low stakes, it's tough real life work, and reading about someone else running a shop isn't made more fun just because it's an orc running it instead of a human! It's less interesting than fantasy which takes the time to consider what a world without capitalism might look like. That said, I really like the message of this episode and their solution to the problem of the afterlife. Paradise is impossible to actually achieve, even in a world where you could get anything you ever wanted handed to you, because a paradise you're forced to stay in isn't a paradise. I also think that the way the Good Place just hands everything to you on a silver platter works against itself - so much of the joy of doing or creating or learning things is in the process. Anyway, one episode to go! It's been a fun ride revisiting this show through your videos!

We’re near the end… before the final episode, I just want to thank you for taking us along on your journey. I’ve always appreciated your candor, and yours is one of the few reactions that give Jason the credit he deserves.
