BACK! --- It was totally worth going to the theatre for and I actually had a good time (thank you). I had no idea that it was the first film in a series of three comin' out. I had sincerely thought it was just the last. The ending makes more sense to me now. I had walked out thinking that was an odd cliffhanger to end a three film series on. -- You touched on the beauty of the memento mori, but I wanted to add that what hit me hard was the memento amori combined with that in that scene. I guess it hit me bc of the synchronicity of it. Because at least twice in the past month I've come across memento mori and ruminated on death. But when you combine it with memento amori - it gives it more depth and meaning. So live your life with love, remember your love because that is what we take to the grave. I agree with you, that whole scene was beautiful and touching. I would still rank it 2nd to 28 Days Later, but it was beautiful.

Non spoiler verdict - it's really good! As for whether or not to go to the theatre... 😬 I don't know what would make it worth it for your threshold 😂 so I couldn't possibly say. No harm in waiting for a digital release!
