Once again, thanks for your inputs about this episode. Not one of my favorite (except for one aspect) but you allowed me to think about it again and to see it with a different point of view. I'm not gonna say again that is why I love your channel so much (but I kind of did, didn't I ?) but I want to emphasize how rare it is amongst the "reactor community" (although calling your work "reacting" would be reducing the quality of your videos to just an emotional point of view whereas they are far beyond that). As you said, I love that in ATS the demons are clearly more ambiguous than in BTVS (even if it begins to change also in BTVS). And, even if they use supernatural means, the humans are more often the real vilains. It is a harsh truth but our species can be a particularly vicious one. That reminds me of a great quote from Ripley in Aliens, regarding the Xenomorphs, which is (in my own words): "I wonder which species is worse. At least, we don't see them killing each other for a god-damned percentage." My favorite aspect of this episode is the bound that is developing between the trio (and specifically between Cordelia and Angel). I find it so beautiful and it never seems forced so I believe in it effortlessly. It really demonstrates well the concept of found family. Thanks again Tyler for your work (I hope that you can live from your videos now by the way) and, as usual, take care of yourself.

Love your reaction to this. "Why did you smell that Wesleyyyyyyyy?" lol. To put this episode into more context, things were really getting violent back then w/regards to pro-life and pro-choice protests. Sure Roe v. Wade was already in effect, but you couldn't go to a woman's clinic for an ordinary pap-smear without picketers calling you a murderer and shaming you. I know that I got into some protest/counter protests that almost got violent back then. So with that context and every single thing you had to say combined with this display of what human empathy and lack of human empathy side by side, it really does feel like a political statement for women to have autonomy over their bodies, you know? Yes, very very very dark episode. Deep, profound. As always, love your reactions. Hope you're doing well. Look forward to more. And if you see slime, don't smell it.
