Beautiful puppy. But puppies are a handful and even more so in a household with birds. We have both and it will all come together in time. Enjoy her they grow up so fast. As for me and I bet many others give yourself a break and we’ll be right here when you get back. I am going through your baby bird class followed by the beginners class with my new baby grey and watch as many of your problem solving videos as possible to try to help the two year old grey we got before him. Sure wish I had found you guys before we bought that one. Thank you for all your hard work and saving parrots “One person at a time “. ❤️

2025-01-09 00:56:21 +0000 UTCWe lost out 20 year old mini schnauzer a couple years ago. My husband originally wanted another dog, but I thought a bird would be less work and less mess. Hmmm . . . What was I thinking?!? In all honesty, I think both animals are about the same amount of work, but for some reason, I dont mind the work as much for my GCC. I loved my dog so much, but I never really got into training him and working with him in the same way I enjoy my bird now. I guess we all have our spirit animals. Just kidding about that, but I am happy to see your family is adjusting and settling in to a nice pattern. Thanks for the update!

I have a great positive reinforcement/vizsla breeder in Canada that I can contact if you need more help… I feel you guys have to not take it so seriously… enjoy that puppy and her antics…. She will get more serious and focus as she matures…. Please !!!!!!!! I have been in dog training for over 20y… all positive reinforcement… but with my touch of hey! You! We don’t do that! That puppy has everything to be a star… just needs time and consistency :) All the best! Love your updates! Hang in there and reach out when you need help! I feel the same with my birds as I know dogs well but not birds as much ! You guys are there for me, I am there for you ♥️
