Dizzy Daisy in 2025...

Whoo boy, there are some exciting plans being set in place for next year and I wanted to update you all on what you might expect from Dizzy Daisy in the year to come!

This new direction is, unfortunately, kicked off by a bit of a bummer. I've parted ways with my literary agent of several years, due to her not wanting to actually take any of my projects forward. It was disappointing to say the least, however I've decided to take it as a fresh start. Because of this, I've also decided that I will no longer pursue traditional publishing, and I will be self-publishing all of my own work.

This means that on top of the Pirate series novel adaptation I will also be self-publishing novels that I had written outside of Dizzy Daisy, of wildly different genres, all under one 'roof' so to speak. I'm taking the phrase new year new me quite literally.

So, there's a lot of work to do! I'll be planning a whole website where you can find all of my books and other writing, merch etc. I'll be recording audio books as well and designing all of my own cover art. There will also be posts requesting Beta readers for all of these projects, so if that's something that interests you keep your eyes peeled.

I am also potentially, POTENTIALLY thinking of doing a face reveal, so that we can get to know one another a little better. We shall see.

But, TLDR, here's what you can expect in the months to come:

The usual audios and all the rest of it, nothing's changing there.

The Pirate series novel which is titled EXILE and goes into far more detail than the audio series.

A novel, previously intended for traditional publishing, about a priest in a small Australian town who no longer believes and has only stayed in the church for the paycheck. He starts to question what good and evil actually mean when a teenage girl appears to be possessed, but is the creature possessing her the one that's trying to save her?

Other novels that need to be reworked, featuring characters like Lazarus, a grandiose medicine man in the middle of the apocalypse. Rabbit, a young woman who's run away from home in the 1800s because the voices in her head told her to follow the leaves. A girl and her stolen dragon hatchling, on the run... There are a dozen stories I have to tell. I hope you'll enjoy hearing them.

So, this is the new me, Daisy Joseph-Cole and I am very excited to start this new chapter with all of you.
