Infodump: 115: -Kamenashi is a “kappa” a turtle yokai (Japanese folklore spirit). -Kamenashi is named after Japanese singer, actor, and all around celebrity, Kazuya Kamenashi. -Otae and Katsura were singing the B’z’s (a J-Rock Duo) song “Taiyo no Komachi Angel.” -Laputa is a mythical castle in the sky, often stationed on clouds. 116: -if you’ve watched One Piece’s “Fishman Island” Arc, then you’re likely somewhat aware of “Ryūgū-jō” (translation: “Dragon Palace Castle”). The closest thing Japanese culture has to Atlantis, it’s the undersea palace built by “Ryujin,” god of the sea, for Princess Oto-Hime, in the “tale of Urashima Taro,” which I will explain to you next reaction, as it may spoil certain plot developments.
