Plingman - This World is Yours: is the ending song and at the end of this last episode it became my most favorite Gintama ending (this said as someone who has watched/read the whole series multiple times.)

Pitying it, he bought the turtle from them and released it back into the ocean. A few days later, while fishing on his boat as usual, the grateful turtle swam up to him and said that he would carry him on his back to the underwater dragon palace ‘Ryugu.’ At the palace, he met the princess Otohime, who thanked him for saving the turtle. After a few days, Urashima became homesick, and wishing to see his parents again, said goodbye to Otohime. She tried to stop him from leaving, but eventually let him go, but with a parting gift: A box called the tamatebako, which she said would protect him so long as he never opened it. When he returned to his home, everything had changed. His house was gone, and his parents had died, as had everyone else he had ever known, as what had been a few days in Ryugu had been decades, perhaps even a century to the rest of the world. Not remembering the princess’s warning, he opened the box. A cloud of white smoke arose, turning him into an old man.” As you can see, much of this arc is Gintama’s take on a sequel to this tale, as it not only uses many of the characters, but also other things (white smoke that ages people). I am glad that the characters all have a happy ending.
