You can maybe skip the fillers for Youtube that way you'll have the break you've been waiting. By the end of that, numbers should increase on YT because after this fillers FT enters it's best part (some of the best arcs). But you also have to watch the OVA's 1-3

Yea, you should definitely watch all episodes, there are important characters development in the 'filler' episodes, Fairy tail doesn't really have fillers, just people calling them that.

Yea Watch Everything in Fairytail. Not much of a Spoil but a lot of later episodes have Emotional parts and the Fillers are part of a lot of parts. Definitely watch All of Fairytail! through the "Filler" just watch a lot of episodes together.

Seriously, watch every episode of Fairy Tail. The 'filler' episodes all have ties to cannon. Cannon characters, call backs to cannon stories, and answers to certain questions. Including something you wondered about in this video. Just my opinion, but you seem to love this show, and you pick up on things other miss the first time through, so I really think you will like the 'filler'.

My opinion would be not to skip anything but if you need to, record your reactions to the filler and upload them all in multi part or one large video at a later time. As I found out recently watching through other series a second time fillers often times provide more than you realize. In one anime in particular we went from omg this person is in a coma to that person suddenly being healthy and walking around again with no explanation. The "filler" show that explanation. Also fairytail isn't exactly a long series like one piece and naruto is so whats the hurry? Most of the fillers here are pretty good too.
