Future Lucy is dead. The amount of strain they put on time only returned everyone who traveled through time from when Future Lucy and Future Rogue used it to their original times, but they stayed how they were at the point they were sent back.

2021-08-17 16:04:49 +0000 UTCYea bro lucy dead, the portal being destoryed wont change the future timeline, everyone in fairy tail in the future was already dead and lucy was missing the right arm with her fairy tail mark on it, so when she wakes up in the golden grassland withe her arm back and everyone in fairy tail, it shows that they are going to continue their journey together in the afterlife

2021-08-15 05:59:13 +0000 UTCAlso, my theory for how the 10,000 dragon timeline came about is it happened when Hisui and Arcadios opened the Eclipse after the grand magic games to defeat Zeref. If they opened it the same night, with the eclipse moon, it would have been stuck open, and the dragons would have come pouring in, without a captured Lucy to help Yukino close it.

My take on it is between future Lucy, future Rogue, Hisui opening the Eclipse for like ten minutes, and Ultear's Last Ages spell, time was ALL messed up. Destroying the Eclipse made it impossible for future Rogue to come back, as well as future Lucy, and the dragons. When it was trashed, they all went back to where they were before they went through the eclipse, the dragons to 400 years ago, future Rogue 7 years into the future, and future Lucy back to the horrible destruction of her future, where she passed and got to join all her Fairy Tail family in peace. Things didn't change in the present, except what Ultear did (saving pretty much everyone, she is such a badass). Only the events after the portal was destroyed by Natsu reverted back (again, IMO). The next episode is kind of an epilogue to this last arc, and it's a gut punch.
