2021-12-05 01:48:41 +0000 UTCHonestly, the revisiting of the Erza/Kyoka fight is a bit annoying, and you are right, it's to show that the other fights were going on at the same time. Also, I may have said it before, but if you are interested in why Mavis is in a crystal in the basement of the guild, you cannot skip Fairy Tail Zero. Some people will probably tell you that you don't have to watch, and technically I guess you don't, but they gloss over the backstory in the final season. Zero is cannon, it's a fun watch, you get great cannon backstories, and it has the best op of the entire series imo. You can totally watch the op too, there aren't any spoilers in it. It also helps you understand and sets up things for the final season.
