just binged all the ft reactions.. I really would love to see a full review dropping on youtube. Or maybe a "Why you should watch ft". Fairy tail is just a emotional rollercaster full of feels man. watched so many animes but fairy tail is the one I treasure the most...many flaws and moments I hate because they could have been soo much better but its already too late to trash fairy tail, because at some point I felt like beeing a fairy tail member...no matter how cheesy sounds like what I m writing now!

Fairytails only problem is plot armor for the "good guys" and no consequence. Don't get me wrong, I really love fairytail but as you seen many times when a good character is no doubt dead or going to die something prevents it. Not saying tons of characters needed to die or sacrificed something, etc... But it's only villains (excluding Simon) that really pay the price in the end. I really did think Juvia would die or meet some terrible fate since every woman tied to Gray either dies or meets a terrible end. I think fairytail needed to do better with consequences but atleast they don't have dragons balls to wish it all the way and have something more limiting like wendy's ability to heal.
Now that you're waiting on 100 year quest arc maybe consider watching Edens Zero which is another project / spin off of Fairytail (and full of easter eggs) or even one of Mashima's older probjects like Rave Master.
