Added 2025-10-29 17:00:24 +0000 UTCThe game they are playing here is called "Micro Mages", a modern game for the NES by the two-man German game studio Morphcat Games. I got to play it two years ago when I visited the muesum for video games in Berlin and loved playing it! It reminds me a bit of my beloved Towerfall.
I don't know if I would recommend the museum... I went there two times: one time was awesome, it was a slow day so we could try all the games we wanted and there was a cool special exhibition. The other time there were two school classes, the second floor was closed and some of the arcade games were out of order. But sitting down in a beanbag between lava lamps and playing Crash Bandicoot on the playstation 1 hit an aching nostalgia within me!
