This picture is a breath of fresh air. As you know I love backgrounds, even when I end up investing far too much time into them. But this time, thanks to the flexibility of painting, I allowed myself to play with the sky and the grass. Less so the hills, they do still follow the rules of atmospheric perspective. It was Draakae who provided me with the reference picture, and also the location :

Here's a little thing I wrote up for the sfw version on Furaffinity today. Maybe It'll transfer a little sentiment:

Even if the idea of awareness is a very simple one, it's an important part of my day anyways. It's not exalting or enlightening, but with a mind that often runs and falls over its own feet, immersing myself in a project where I was free to just *feel* my way through, at times, was gratifying. It's an animal sense of the world that is uncomplicated and eternal, when the world feels simply alive around you. Perhaps enhanced by your investment into it, like a different kind of sensitivity. Breathing is enough to have a place in it. The judgement pauses. You're alone, with everything. At least that's what I'm getting from it right now.
