Dance Dance!
Added 2024-02-18 16:00:04 +0000 UTCWyrm approached me for a tarot-themed commission for his new bird character. I'm a bit of a purist, so we moved away from the need for a border and title - and toward a more individual portrait of his new phoenix-adjacent anthro bird!
The spiral-twirl was the main point of the composition. A spiral, like the phoenix, is about cyclicality. Instead of going in a circle, a spiral contains growth. It expands. Mixed this with some references to the very intuitive and impulsive Princess of Wands we got inspired by.
