Animated Village Map Test. We want your feedback!

This is the first test we got so far. We already have a couple of things we want to fix in a definitive version, such as the smoke that cuts off at the and, a more noticeable animation for the waves and a few more birds and clouds to make the animation more interesting. But I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.
What would you like to see in an animated map like this?
