16. Pathetic (1

"Ume?" Ye Xinghan tilted his head and stared at her thoughtfully.

Both Gyuutarou and Ume weren't people that supposed to exist in this world.

Now this matter raised another question. Are there exist any other fictional characters aside from them? Or even another transmigrated person from earth like himself?

'Sigh, I guess I need to speed up my plans. As long as this is the timeline which Nie Lie was reincarnated to his younger self, I don't need too racked my brain too much.' Ye Xinghan inwardly thought.

He was so angry because when he almost succeed, someone came and annoys him.

So when Shen Ye brandished his fist, Ye Xinghan slightly leaned his head towards the side and managed to avoided the blow. (Imagine Pain avoiding Kakashi's raikiri.)

Shen Ye surprised as he didn't expect the enemy to easily dodged his fist.

Ye Xinghan saw that Shen Ye didn't prepare the follow up move, he used the chance to hit the back neck of the Sacred family young master, and knocking him out.

"Are u ok?" Ye Xinghan asked Ume after he was sure that Shen Ye was knocked out for good.

"Umm.... who are you, kid?" Ume nervously muttered. This little kid suddenly barged in and easily beat Shen Ye.

Although Shen Ye wasn't a genius in his family, but the resources of a Noble Family isn't something that anyone can compare to. So, even a trash person in noble family, might be a genius for ordinary family.

"Kid??" Ye Xinghan twitched his eyebrows when he heard that word. Being an adult in two lifetimes made him unaccustomed at the words. But then he realized that Ume was a head taller than him.

"W-what? Are u gonna hurt me too?" Ume said while took a step back. She felt that the kid in front of her got offended somehow.

"Nope, I'm here by the request of your brother." Ye Xinghan rolled his eyes and softly said to her.

"My brother? Where is he?" Ume hurriedly asked. She seems agitated when Ye Xinghan mentioned her brother.

"Well, he is just outside dealing with Sacred Family servants." Ye Xinghan leisurely said and pointed the direction.

Ume didn't reply and rushed outside at once, she worried about her brother as she knew that he won't be a match for the Sacred family's mob. Ye Xinghan quickly followed her.

Gyuutarou stood in front of the Sacred family's servants. His whole body was covered with bruises and blood. He panted heavily as he warily looked at each person. His body slightly swayed as if he could drop at any moment.

"Give it up kid, just let the young master have his way with your own sister. And if she is lucky, maybe she will become his slave and you can get the benefit too. That's an once in century opportunity for the likes of you." One of the servant mocked Gyuutarou while the rest laughing at him. They looked fine except some of their sleeves had been cut by Gyuutarou.

Gyuutarou raged and immediately rushed towards them. He slashed his sickle, but the servant kicked him at the chest and send him flying.

"Arrrghhhh" Gyuutarou grunted as he got kicked. His whole body felt like breaking, he didn't have enough strength anymore to stand up.

But, he had to. He had stand up and fight to creating space for his sister's escape.

Its fine if he died at their hands, as long as she was safe.

She had a bright future. But he isn't.

With her beauty, anyone will be tempted. That Snow Wind young master won't be an exception won't he?

His status and personality was kinda okay, so he was barely fit to be with his sister.

Even Shen Ye had to be wary of Ye Xinghan's identity right?

With this thought, Gyuutarou gritted his teeth and stood up again. He was dizzy because being repeatedly beaten. So even stood still was a hard feat.

"COME AGAIN" Gyuutarou roared at those servants.

The lackeys were slightly terrified and amazed by his appearance and guts, because no matter how much he got beaten, he would stand up again.

Gyuutarou rushed first to the lackeys. He would take them down with him with his suicidal attack.

Gyuutarou's eyes were shining with determination, determination to protect and die.

He gripped tight his sickles and fastened his speed.

But suddenly, someone rammed into him. Making both of them stumbled.

"STOP" A sweet voice screamed beside his ear.

At that moment Gyuutarou woken up from his madness state.

It was his sister's voice!!!

He looked at her carefully, she looks neat and tidy.

"Ume??" Gyuutarou dazedly asked. His sister supposed to escape with Ye Xinghan. What was she doing here??

"How is it? The taste of being weak? Is not really good, right?" At this moment, a voice of young boy also heard.

"What are you doing?? Bring Ume away!!! I will block them!!" Gyuutarou struggled out of his sister's embrace.

"Stop onii chan, stop!! Lets run together. Why don't you understand that I don't want to live without you?" Ume cried as she tighten her arms around Gyuutarou.

Ye Xinghan silently watching him. In fact, he admired the relationship of both of them.

This was the bond that every sibling dreamed of.

"She is right." Ye Xinghan said.

"Currently, she has no real value for me. Her only value is that she is your sister."

"I help her because your request."

Ye Xinghan smiled softly.

"Besides..

everything will be okay because I'm here."
