288. Rin Nohara's First Kiss
Added 2025-03-22 06:14:28 +0000 UTC
No one in Konoha Village knew how to use the Impure World Reincarnation technique.
But that wasn’t a big problem—Hanekawa could learn it.
"Haru," Hanekawa instructed, "arrange a room for him in the ANBU base."
"Yes," Haru replied, turning to Sasori. "Please follow me."
"Lord Hanekawa, don’t forget your promise," Sasori reminded him before following Haru out of the office.
Until Hanekawa mastered the Impure World Reincarnation, Sasori would be staying in Konoha. He had also promised not to kill anyone, even if he encountered Hatake Sakumo, he would simply pretend not to see him.
Hanekawa wasn’t too concerned.
Given Hatake Sakumo’s strength, it was hard to say who would win if he faced Sasori. By the time they were locked in a stalemate, Hanekawa would have already reacted and rushed to stop them.
The door closed.
Hanekawa leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes.
The day's documents had already been processed, and now it was time to relax. But simply relaxing was too boring, so he began to ponder how to modify the Yin Seal.
After some time, Hanekawa suddenly opened his eyes.
He vaguely sensed something entering his office.
"Zetsu," Hanekawa said with certainty.
Given his strength, only Zetsu's Mayfly Technique in the entire ninja world could make him uncertain.
"As expected of Lord Hanekawa," a white figure slowly emerged from the floor.
"Are you the main body of Zetsu?" Hanekawa glanced at him, finding no difference from the ordinary Zetsu.
"Indeed," Zetsu said with lingering fear. "I thought Lord Hanekawa would kill me."
"Why would I kill you?" Hanekawa chuckled. "You have value in staying alive."
"I understand!" Zetsu said obediently. "From now on, I will be your most loyal subordinate!"
Having been transformed by the Divine Tree, Zetsu was no longer human and had no concept of loyalty to a single master.
In its eyes, whoever possessed the Gedo Statue could command it. Besides, with Uchiha Madara and Black Zetsu dead, there was no one else to serve except Hanekawa.
Hanekawa smiled faintly.
He didn’t believe in loyalty. As long as Zetsu worked diligently, that was enough.
"Continue as before. Do what you need to do, and report any significant movements in the ninja world to me promptly," Hanekawa paused, then added, "No need to monitor Konoha."
With him overseeing Konoha, no clan or ninja could cause trouble.
"Yes!" Zetsu sighed in relief, then asked with a grin, "Lord Hanekawa, do you know what it feels like to take a dump?"
"..."
Hanekawa twitched his lips.
"I’ll take my leave now. Call me if you need anything," Zetsu said, sensing the awkwardness, and sank into the floor, disappearing.
Hanekawa shook his head.
Zetsu had a comedic nature. In the original work, the Zetsu named Tobi exemplified this perfectly. Hanekawa hadn’t expected the main body of Zetsu to have the same personality.
Regardless, Zetsu was now under his command.
"I need someone to help test this weakened version of the Yin Seal," Hanekawa mused, stroking his chin.
He had some ideas about modifying the Yin Seal, but to make further progress, he needed to experiment. Since he already had a complete Yin Seal, he couldn’t practice the weakened version himself.
Hanekawa thought of Rin Nohara.
She was a suitable candidate.
Yūhi Kurenai would also work, but she wasn’t a medical ninja and couldn’t provide immediate feedback on the internal changes.
Hanekawa stood up and headed to the Konoha Hospital.
As soon as he arrived, he saw four familiar faces: Rin Nohara, Yamato, Might Guy, and Hatake Kakashi.
"Hanekawa!" Might Guy shouted excitedly.
Rin Nohara pursed her lips, a hint of joy flashing in her eyes.
"What are you all doing here?" Hanekawa asked curiously.
"I accidentally fractured a bone during training, so I’ve been in the hospital for two days," Might Guy explained. "I was just discharged today and thought I’d say hello to Rin."
"A fracture?" Hanekawa raised an eyebrow. "Was it from training with the Eight Gates?"
"As expected of my lifelong rival!" Might Guy gave a thumbs-up. "You guessed it right away!"
"Yamato, how are you adjusting to Team 3?" Hanekawa smiled and changed the subject.
"Both seniors have been very kind to me," Yamato replied.
Previously, he had carried the cold, detached aura of someone from the Root. Now, he seemed like an ordinary young man—except for the green spandex he was wearing.
Hanekawa could imagine the story behind the green spandex.
Yamato, having come from the Root, didn’t care about others’ opinions, so wearing the green spandex was perfectly reasonable.
"Yamato is now a companion on my path of youth!" Might Guy declared passionately.
Hatake Kakashi sighed deeply.
One Might Guy was already a handful, and now with Yamato assimilated into his ways, it was pure torment.
"You’ve had it rough, Kakashi," Hanekawa said sympathetically, patting his shoulder.
"It’s fine," Hatake Kakashi replied calmly.
"I was just discharged today. How about a youthful showdown?" Might Guy clenched his fist, full of anticipation.
"Guy, it’s best if you rest for a couple more days," Rin Nohara advised.
"Let’s spar another time," Hanekawa said with a smile.
Given Might Guy’s strength, if he used the Eight Gates, he could indeed give Hanekawa a good match. But the cost of using the Eight Gates was too high, so it wasn’t necessary.
"We need to head to the Hokage’s office, so we won’t take up any more of your time," Hatake Kakashi said after a moment of thought.
"The Hokage’s office?" Hanekawa glanced at him. "A mission?"
"Yes," Hatake Kakashi replied. "The Hokage summoned us, but we don’t know the details yet."
"Then go ahead," Hanekawa nodded. "Rin and I have some things to discuss."
"See you later," Yamato, Hatake Kakashi, and Might Guy left the office.
"Hanekawa," Rin Nohara had much to say, but it all condensed into four words: "Long time no see."
She lowered her head, appearing both obedient and pitiful.
Hanekawa felt a bit guilty.
He had been busy with the Hidden Rain Village and the Akatsuki, and had neglected Rin, rarely visiting her.
"Rin," Hanekawa reached out and gently patted her head.
"Hanekawa, what did you need me for?" Rin asked, feeling calmer from his gentle touch.
"Let’s sit and talk," Hanekawa took her hand and led her to the sofa.
Rin was momentarily stunned, instinctively following him until she sat down on the sofa.
She looked at her hand, still held in his, feeling both excited and shy, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush.
"Do you remember what I told you before about modifying the Yin Seal?" Hanekawa asked, stroking the back of her smooth hand.
"Yes," Rin replied, unaccustomed to such intimate gestures, and kept her head down, not daring to look at him.
"I’ve had some ideas," Hanekawa cleared his throat. "Now I just need someone to help me test it."
"You mean me?" Rin was slightly taken aback, unsure. "Can I do it?"
After all, she hadn’t mastered the Yin Seal before.
"Of course you can," Hanekawa said firmly. "You’re one of Konoha’s finest medical ninjas."
"I... I still have a long way to go," Rin felt a warmth in her heart but quickly shook her head.
"Don’t be too modest," Hanekawa patted her hand.
Konoha had many medical ninjas, but few could rival Rin. Aside from Tsunade and himself, there was only Yakushi Nonō. Rin was at the peak of what an ordinary medical ninja could achieve.
"Let’s not talk about that. Let’s focus on the Yin Seal," Hanekawa abruptly changed the subject.
"Okay," Rin tilted her head slightly to look at him.
She was quite excited about the modified Yin Seal. Her thinking was simple: even a weakened version of the Yin Seal was still the Yin Seal, and mastering it would undoubtedly boost her strength.
Hanekawa had already gone far ahead.
She couldn’t catch up to him, but she could try to close the gap, even if just a little.
"The principle of the Yin Seal is simple: it stores chakra in the forehead in advance," Hanekawa continued. "But achieving it is difficult and requires exceptional chakra control."
Rin nodded in agreement.
Her ability to master most medical ninjutsu proved her chakra control was good, but it still fell short of the Yin Seal’s requirements.
"I’ve thought of a method today," Hanekawa went on. "I’ll guide you through the Yin Seal training."
"Huh?" Rin didn’t quite understand, her expression puzzled.
"Simply put, we’ll control the chakra in your body together," Hanekawa explained.
"Will that work?" Rin’s eyes widened.
The chakra in her body wasn’t Hanekawa’s, so how could he control it? The idea sounded bizarre.
"Whether it works or not, we’ll only know after trying," Hanekawa smiled.
Under normal circumstances, it wouldn’t be possible. But with his current strength, it might work. However, until it succeeded, everything was uncertain.
"How do we try?" Rin asked eagerly.
"Channel your chakra to your forehead," Hanekawa placed his hand on her forehead.
Rin immediately complied.
A strand of chakra flowed through her meridians and soon reached her forehead.
Hanekawa focused, and chakra surged from his palm.
His chakra guided Nohara Rin's strand of chakra, attempting to carve out a chakra reservoir for the Yin Seal at her forehead.
However, problems arose not long after.
Despite their efforts, the two strands of chakra were not of the same origin and could not achieve true synchronization.
Simply put, it did enhance Nohara Rin's chakra control, but it still fell short of the standard required for the Yin Seal.
"As expected," Hanekawa withdrew his hand and said.
"What should we do now?" Nohara Rin couldn't help but ask, "Should we try a few more times?"
"No need," Hanekawa smiled and said, "Since you can't learn the original version of the Yin Seal, then learn a weakened version."
Nohara Rin blinked her eyes.
She thought what they had just attempted was the weakened version.
"The weakened version of the Yin Seal doesn't require such high chakra control," Hanekawa paused and then said, "But the location for storing chakra needs to be moved from the forehead to the chakra pool."
"chakra pool?" Nohara Rin instinctively covered her abdomen with her hands, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"The chakra pool is the central hub of the tenketsu. Establishing a chakra reservoir here allows chakra to spread throughout the body more quickly," Hanekawa explained, "Of course, it's not the original chakra reservoir; it will be more simplified."
His idea was straightforward: keep the main structure and remove the intricate details.
If the original Yin Seal was like a smartphone, then the weakened version would be like a brick phone.
Both can make calls, but the latter has far fewer functions.
"Let's begin," Hanekawa looked at Nohara Rin and reminded her, "There might be some danger, so stay alert at all times."
"Okay," Nohara Rin hesitated for a few seconds, then grabbed the hem of her shirt and lifted it, revealing her flat stomach.
Hanekawa blinked.
Actually, she didn't need to lift her shirt.
But since it was already done, he didn't say anything more.
Hanekawa reached out his hand and placed it on her fair skin.
Nohara Rin's body trembled slightly, and she turned her head away, her face flushed.
"Calm your mind," Hanekawa reminded her.
"Yes," Nohara Rin felt a bit ashamed.
He was only teaching her the Yin Seal.
Yet, her thoughts were wandering.
Nohara Rin took a deep breath and began to refine her chakra.
A stream of chakra emerged from Hanekawa's palm.
Nohara Rin felt a warm sensation in her abdomen, causing her to instinctively close her legs.
The chakra she had just refined lost control and dissipated immediately.
"I'm... I'm sorry!" Nohara Rin said, her face red.
"It's nothing," Hanekawa said indifferently, "It's impossible to succeed on the first try."
Nohara Rin regained her focus and continued to refine her chakra.
The day passed slowly.
As Hanekawa had predicted, even the weakened version of the Yin Seal was difficult to master.
Of course, the main reason was that they were simultaneously modifying and refining it as they practiced.
But fortunately, their direction was correct, and the rest was just a matter of time.
"Let's stop here for today," Hanekawa withdrew his hand and said.
"Okay," Nohara Rin lowered her shirt, covering her abdomen, and said, "Thank you, Hanekawa."
"You've basically grasped the technique, so you can try practicing on your own," Hanekawa nodded slightly and said, "I'll come and help when I have time."
"I'll work hard," Nohara Rin glanced at the sky and asked, "Can I treat you to a meal?"
"Next time," Hanekawa thought for a moment and said.
This wasn't him being dismissive; it was mainly because there were two beauties, one big and one small, waiting for him to cook at home.
If he didn't return, he would face double the resentment.
Nohara Rin felt a bit disappointed, but it was okay.
Since modifying and practicing the Yin Seal wasn't something that could be done overnight, they would have plenty of time to spend together.
Flying Thunder God Technique!
Hanekawa arrived at the Hokage's office.
"Is it time to get off work?" Tsunade glanced at him, stood up, and stretched.
"Sensei, how was today?" Hanekawa walked over, wrapped his arm around her waist, and casually touched her plump chest.
"Same as usual," Tsunade gave him a coquettish glare and said, "Your hands are always so restless."
"You can touch me back; I don't mind," Hanekawa said with a light laugh.
"Somehow, I still feel like I'm at a disadvantage," Tsunade raised her finger, lifted his chin, and asked.
Hanekawa grabbed her wrist, lowered his head, and kissed her lips.
Tsunade was slightly startled but soon engaged in a battle of tongues.
Hanekawa's hand moved downward, patted her butts, and then pinched her thigh.
His main sensation was that it was fleshy.
"Let's go home, kid," Tsunade said breathlessly, holding onto his wandering hand.
As she breathed, her sleeveless top trembled, revealing the full outline of her figure.
Hanekawa really wanted to help, but his hand was already caught.
However, this didn't stump him.
He simply buried his face into Tsunade's chest.
The soft touch and the faint, rich fragrance were unmistakable.
This could truly be described as a warm and fragrant embrace.
"Are you a child?" Tsunade asked helplessly.
"I'm too tired today; I just want to rest in your arms for a while," Hanekawa said casually.
"What did you do today?" Tsunade reached out, held his head, and gently stroked his hair.
"Let's talk about it after we get back," Hanekawa used the Flying Thunder God Technique and returned to the living room.
Tsunade glanced around and then lay down on the sofa.
As a ninja, she could handle having a heavy weight on her.
This worked out well for Hanekawa.
Having such a soft pillow and mattress.
"I tried modifying the Yin Seal today," Hanekawa said comfortably, adjusting his head.
"How did you modify it?" Tsunade bit her lip and asked.
The warm breath Hanekawa exhaled brushed against the fair skin of her chest, sending a tingling sensation through her.
Her body had already grown accustomed to Hanekawa, leaving her defenses down.
"It's like this," Hanekawa mumbled an explanation.
"Hmm," Tsunade endured the strange sensations in her body and said, "The idea isn't bad, but it's already diverged from the original purpose of the Yin Seal."
The original intent of the Yin Seal was to store chakra, allowing one to achieve a state of near-immortality during battle for a certain period.
But Hanekawa's modified Yin Seal couldn't be used in combat.
The stored chakra was entirely used to maintain the body's condition.
Although having the body in peak condition at all times was beneficial for combat, it couldn't achieve immortality.
"Is this Yin Seal preparation for your little girlfriends?" Tsunade suddenly understood and asked abruptly.
"Not at all," Hanekawa quickly said, "I was just considering my teammates."
"Is that so?" Tsunade reached out, flicked his forehead, and said, "Do you think your little thoughts can escape my notice?"
Hanekawa opened his mouth but didn't respond.
Tsunade let out a muffled groan, instinctively tightening her hold on his head.
Her body tensed for a couple of seconds before relaxing again.
"You little brat!" Tsunade said with some annoyance, "You always use these kinds of tricks!"
Hanekawa remained silent, simply staying at the "baby cafeteria."
Tsunade could do nothing about him.
Soon, her cheeks flushed, and she felt her whole body tingling and weak.
"Let's... go to the room," Tsunade pushed the matter of modifying the Yin Seal to the back of her mind.
"Okay," Hanekawa licked his lips, stood up, picked up Tsunade, and headed towards the room.
Another night of battle ensued.
The next day arrived.
At the first training ground on the edge of Konoha Village.
Hanekawa's eyes trembled, and a swirling pattern appeared.
He had activated the Rinnegan.
Nohara Rin was now a medical ninja at Konoha Hospital, with plenty of work to do daily.
Hanekawa wasn't in a hurry to find her to modify the Yin Seal.
After finishing his paperwork, he went to the first training ground to test the Rinnegan.
Hanekawa had obtained the Rinnegan but hadn't yet gained the abilities associated with it.
However, he wasn't worried.
In the original story, Nagato had mastered the Six Paths and Outer Path abilities on his own without any guidance.
Hanekawa had an even greater advantage than Nagato.
After all, he already knew and had experienced the Six Paths and Outer Path abilities.
Shinra Tensei!
Hanekawa raised his hand.
Chakra transformed into an invisible repulsive force.
In an instant, all the dust around him was swept up and blown away.
Hanekawa let out a light sound of surprise.
He hadn't expected to succeed on his first attempt.
The main reason was that he had felt an instinctive sensation, as if Shinra Tensei was meant to be used this way.
Hanekawa pondered.
It was similar to muscle memory.
He didn't have the memory, but the Rinnegan did, so all he needed to do now was rely on intuition.
Hanekawa raised his hand again, aiming at a tree in the distance.
Banshō Ten'in!
A vortex-like, terrifying suction force formed in his hand.
With a crack, the tree trunk snapped, leaving only a stump behind.
The entire tree flew toward him.
Shinra Tensei!
Hanekawa immediately switched techniques, throwing the tree far away.
The tree landed, kicking up a cloud of dust.
This back-and-forth left the ground looking quite messy.
Hanekawa thought of Chibaku Tensei
The Deva Path of the Rinnegan had three techniques or abilities: Shinra Tensei, Banshō Ten'in, and Chibaku Tensei.
But Chibaku Tensei was too powerful and not suitable for training and learning here.
Hanekawa stroked his chin.
In the original story, Nagato and the Six Paths of Pain had used black rods.
These rods were chakra receivers, used to control the Six Paths of Pain.
But when used as ninja tools, they were incredibly powerful, capable of piercing through anything.
Hanekawa extended his hand and began to attempt creating them.
However, each attempt ended in failure.
"It seems the black rods are truly formed from Yin-Yang Release," Hanekawa shook his head and said.
He hadn't yet mastered Yin-Yang Release, so he couldn't use the black rods.
To trigger the S-rank term 'Yin-Yang Release,' the power boost of the seven nature transformations needed to reach 300%.
Based on his experience with Fire and Water Release, the only ways to gain power-boosting terms were either through tailed beasts or powerful ninjas.
Hanekawa thought for a moment, then refocused and continued testing the Rinnegan.
Mechanical Armor!
He raised his hand, and two mechanical arms appeared out of thin air on his right arm.
This was the ability of the Asura Path.
In the original story, the Asura Path was similar to Sasori's puppets, with its body filled with mechanisms and special ninja tools.
Asura's Attack!
Hanekawa willed it, and the two mechanical arms transformed.
One mechanical arm opened its wrist, and multiple mechanical wires flew out.
They rapidly extended, tightly binding a tree in the distance.
The other mechanical arm transformed into a cannon.
Chakra surged out, reducing the bound tree to ashes.
Hanekawa raised an eyebrow.
The power was indeed impressive.
In the original story, Nagato had attempted to use Asura's Attack but was interrupted by Itachi Uchiha, so it hadn't succeeded.
In the official game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, Asura's Attack was powerful enough to pierce through Chibaku Tensei.
Time flew by, and it was already April.
The weather had warmed, and the sunlight outside the window was particularly bright.
Hanekawa glanced at it, then closed his eyes.
He was currently in the office at Konoha Hospital.
But Nohara Rin was in the middle of a surgery, so she hadn't arrived yet.
Hanekawa was refining the Yin Seal.
After two months of effort, the weakened version of the Yin Seal was finally in its final stages.
But calling it the Yin Seal no longer seemed appropriate.
Hanekawa thought for a moment and decided to call it the Seal of Immortality.
It was a bit cliché, but it perfectly captured the effect of this weakened version of the Yin Seal.
Footsteps sounded.
Hanekawa opened his eyes and saw Nohara Rin, looking tired but with a smile on her face.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Hanekawa," Nohara Rin said apologetically.
"It's nothing," Hanekawa smiled and said, "The patients are more important."
"Let's start practicing now, so we don't waste your time," Nohara Rin quickly said.
"No rush," Hanekawa patted the sofa and said, "You just finished a surgery; you should rest for a bit."
"I'm not tired," Nohara Rin instinctively refused.
"Practicing the Yin Seal requires your full concentration," Hanekawa shook his head and said, "Resting for a while will make the practice more effective."
Nohara Rin hesitated but eventually agreed.
She lowered her head, walked over to Hanekawa, and sat down on the sofa.
"Relax," Hanekawa said with a smile, seeing how tense she was.
"Okay," Nohara Rin instinctively replied.
"Let me give you a massage," Hanekawa reached out, grabbed Nohara Rin's ankles, and placed her legs, clad in knee-high socks, on his lap.
"Huh?" Nohara Rin's eyes widened, completely unprepared for such a bold move.
Before she could refuse, Hanekawa took hold of her small feet and began massaging them.
Nohara Rin's body tensed, and she bit her lip, showing a look of discomfort.
Despite the barrier of the knee-high socks, she still felt an indescribable sensation.
His large hands were warm, making her heart burn and flutter.
"How is it?" Hanekawa asked, looking up.
"Th-thank you," Nohara Rin replied, answering a different question.
Hanekawa couldn't help but laugh.
Nohara Rin's body was slightly curled up, her face flushed, and she was biting her lip, looking both cute and somewhat alluring.
"You should be able to master the Yin Seal today," Hanekawa said, pressing on the top of her foot.
"T-today?" Nohara Rin regained a bit of clarity.
But she didn't feel happy; instead, she felt a bit disappointed.
Once she mastered the Yin Seal, she probably wouldn't have many more opportunities to spend so much time with Hanekawa.
"Yes," Hanekawa said casually, "After all, it's a weakened version of the Yin Seal."
"What exactly does this weakened version do?" Nohara Rin asked after a few seconds of silence.
"It keeps your body in its peak condition," Hanekawa explained, "But it doesn't have effects like instant healing or increased attack speed."
"I see," Nohara Rin nodded and said, "Being able to stay in peak condition at all times is already more than enough."
Ninjas were still human, and humans would inevitably get tired, which would lead to various negative effects.
With this weakened version of the Yin Seal, she wouldn't have to worry as much.
"You're missing the main point," Hanekawa said, pinching her calf.
"W-what main point?" Nohara Rin asked, embarrassed.
"It's about preserving your youth," Hanekawa said with a smile, "You'll be able to stay young and beautiful forever."
Nohara Rin was stunned.
A person's peak condition was undoubtedly during their youth.
And this weakened version of the Yin Seal allowed one to stay in that peak condition at all times.
Wait.
Nohara Rin suddenly realized something.
Why was Hanekawa having her learn this youth-preserving Yin Seal?
Her mind was instantly filled with chaotic thoughts, and her face turned red without her realizing it.
"Alright, let's continue practicing the Yin Seal," Hanekawa said after a few minutes, letting go of her feet.
Nohara Rin put her legs down and sat properly on the sofa again.
She took a deep breath, grabbed the hem of her shirt, and exposed her fair abdomen.
Due to her nervousness, her stomach was slightly trembling.
Hanekawa reached out and placed his hand on her abdomen.
Nohara Rin turned her head away.
The warm touch made her face flush.
Even though they had done this over a dozen times, she still wasn't used to it.
"I'm starting, Rin," Hanekawa reminded her, then began channeling chakra.
Nohara Rin immediately focused her attention.
Time passed slowly.
By dusk, a chakra reservoir had fully formed in Nohara Rin's dantian.
"It's done!" Nohara Rin opened her eyes and looked at Hanekawa, her voice filled with rare excitement.
"Only half done," Hanekawa smiled and said, "The chakra reservoir is still empty; you need to fill it."
"Okay," Nohara Rin said gratefully, "Thank you, Hanekawa."
She had originally been unable to learn the Yin Seal, but now, even though it was a weakened version, she was quite satisfied.
"How will you thank me?" Hanekawa's fingers moved slightly, feeling the warmth of her abdomen.
"I..." Nohara Rin's body trembled, "I... I'll treat you to a meal."
"Just a meal?" Hanekawa withdrew his hand and asked with a smile.
Nohara Rin's heart skipped a beat, and under his gaze, her face quickly turned red.
If not a meal, then what?
She didn't dare to think too deeply, only feeling her face grow hotter.
"You're really cute," Hanekawa leaned in, kissed her lips lightly, and said, "This is the real thank-you gift."
Nohara Rin froze in place.
She didn't know how to react or what to say.
"I'm leaving; see you tomorrow," Hanekawa patted her head, stepped back, and disappeared.
Nohara Rin wasn't like Samui or Kurenai, so he didn't push further, not wanting to scare her.
Hanekawa returned to the ANBU base.
"Lord Hanekawa," Samui walked up to him and handed him a scroll, "This is the intel on Mukade."
Hanekawa opened the scroll and read it.
Mukade had arrived at the Dragon Vein two months ago.
But as Hanekawa had expected, he hadn't tried to break the seal directly.
Until yesterday, when he entered the Dragon Vein's seal area and made an attempt.
Although he hadn't succeeded, the Dragon Vein's seal had loosened slightly.
"Good work, keep monitoring him." Hanekawa closed the scroll and give it back to Haru
"Yes, Lord Hanekawa." Haru slightly bowed as she received the scroll.
"Notify me if there's something else, I'm leaving." Hanekawa said as he stood up and used Flying Thundergod Technique.

As Hanekawa entered Kurenai's home, he noticed the slight sound of water falling.
"Hanekawa?" Kurenai voice came from the bathroom.
"It's me" Hanekawa replied as he closed the door and walked towards the sofa, "Why didn't you notify me if you're gonna took a bath?" He asked as he sat down while slightly chuckling.
"Muuu.. Wait for a bit, I'm almost done."
He could imagine Kurenai's blushing face while pouting. He lightly said, "Okay" As he closed his eyes to rest.
