296. The Fallen Kaguya Otsutsuki

Morning.

Hanekawa opened his eyes.

He sat up and yawned.

Without Tsunade and Samui by his side, he felt a little unaccustomed to waking up alone.

Before, he could either enjoy the warmth of their bodies or start his day with some morning exercise.

Thinking of Kaguya Otsutsuki, he couldn't help but shake his head.

She had promised to bear his offspring, yet she showed no sign of taking action.

As expected, she was just an innocent, clueless girl.

Hanekawa got out of bed and changed his clothes.

When he entered the living room, he was surprised to find that Kaguya hadn't woken up yet.

"Has she started sleeping in? That actually makes her seem a bit more like a mortal goddess."

Hanekawa turned and headed to the bathroom.

In truth, he no longer needed to wash up.

At his level of power, his body remained pristine, untouched by dust or dirt.

But habits weren’t so easily changed.

After freshening up, he boiled some water in the kitchen and then walked to Kaguya’s bedroom door.

He raised his hand and knocked.

Moments later, the door opened.

Hanekawa's eyes widened.

Kaguya was wearing a black silk nightgown with thin straps.

The neckline was loose, slipping off her shoulders and revealing a large expanse of pale skin, along with the faint outline of her curves.

Beneath the nightgown, her long, snow-white legs were fully exposed—she wasn’t wearing any stockings.

"Why are you wearing that nightgown?" Hanekawa asked curiously.

"You said I could wear it at home, didn’t you?" Kaguya replied calmly.

"…"

Hanekawa recalled that he had indeed said that before.

But he hadn't expected her to actually follow his words so literally.

"What are you thinking?" Kaguya asked, staring at him.

"You look beautiful in that nightgown," Hanekawa answered sincerely, snapping back to reality.

Kaguya reached out and placed her hand on his face.

Tilting her head slightly, she suddenly licked the corner of her lips.

Hanekawa froze for a moment before feeling the soft sensation of her lips pressing against his.

It was Kaguya’s kiss.

Instinctively, he responded, engaging in an intimate battle of tongues.

As he lowered his gaze, he noticed a change in Kaguya’s expression.

She wasn’t as cold as before—there was a hint of emotion in her eyes.

Hanekawa’s heart stirred.

After hesitating for a few seconds, he reached out his hand.

Kaguya felt his large palm pressing against her lower abdomen.

She flinched slightly, recalling the book Haori had given her yesterday.

It mentioned that kissing was a sign of affection, but that affection wasn’t limited to just kissing—physical touch was also a part of it.

Remembering that, Kaguya didn’t resist Hanekawa’s hand.

A few seconds later, she frowned slightly.

She felt Hanekawa’s hand move to her chest, and he wasn't exactly being well-behaved.

A hint of confusion flashed in her eyes.

Her body was changing again.

A tingling sensation spread through her.

For some reason, she found it oddly pleasurable.

Hanekawa carefully observed Kaguya’s reaction and was genuinely surprised.

She wasn’t stopping him?

But he had to admit—this alien woman had an unexpectedly busty chest.

Though, of course, not as big as Tsunade or Samui.

After a long while, their lips parted.

Kaguya panted softly, her face expressionless.

Now that she had experienced it firsthand, she finally understood a bit more of what that book had described.

"Kaguya."

Hanekawa lowered his head and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I’ll go make breakfast."

"Mm."

Kaguya responded with a soft hum.

After Hanekawa left, she placed a hand on her chest.

"Why is that feeling gone now?" she murmured in confusion, tilting her head.

Letting out a breath, she withdrew her hand, closed the door, and returned to her room.

"It seems he likes this nightgown," Kaguya concluded as she took off her clothes.

"The desire in his eyes was stronger than ever before."

She opened her wardrobe and put on a kimono, wrapping her snow-white body tightly.

In her mind, only Hanekawa had the right to see her, touch her, and kiss her.

Ten minutes later, the three of them sat around the dining table.

Today's breakfast was tonkotsu ramen.

"Tsukihime," Hanekawa said after some thought, "I have a task for you."

"What is it?" Tsukihime's eyes lit up with anticipation.

"As a ninja, training alone isn’t enough—you need real combat experience."

Hanekawa smiled. "At your learning speed, you’ll soon master all ninjutsu. When that time comes, you’ll spar with Haori and the others."

Pressure creates motivation.

Tsukihime could push Haori and Futami to train harder while also gaining combat experience herself.

Of course, it would still take time.

Hanekawa had already decided to directly grant enlightenment to some of the more talented students.

After all, he was the founder of the Shinobi Sect.

Since all students received their chakra seeds from him, his chakra wouldn’t be rejected by them.

Hanekawa could artificially accelerate the growth of some Jōnin.

These Jōnin could then lead teams on missions, spreading the influence of the Shinobi Sect.

"Mm!"

Tsukihime nodded firmly.

She had never experienced a real battle before, so she was looking forward to it.

After breakfast, she excitedly ran off to the Shinobi Sect.

"Teach me taijutsu."

Kaguya Otsutsuki looked at Hanekawa and said.

"Alright."

Hanekawa nodded in agreement.

His shadow clone was handling things at the Shinobi Sect.

He and Kaguya could afford to take it easy.

"I’ll teach you taijutsu in the morning, and in the afternoon, we’ll spar using only ninjutsu."

Hanekawa suddenly thought of something and added.

"Only ninjutsu?"

Kaguya asked in confusion.

Hanekawa’s strength was only slightly below hers, but he had already reached the point where ninjutsu was ineffective against him.

Wouldn't sparring with ninjutsu just be a waste of time?

"Yes."

Hanekawa couldn’t explain properly, so he simply said, "It’s useful for me."

"Is that so?"

Kaguya’s eyelashes fluttered slightly. "Then I’ll follow your lead."

Hanekawa was momentarily stunned.

Hearing those words from Kaguya’s mouth was a first.

But for some reason, looking at her cold and indifferent face, he suddenly had the urge to kiss her.

He didn’t hesitate. He acted.

Kaguya was briefly taken aback when she was suddenly embraced.

But soon, she immersed herself in the moment.

She even felt unsatisfied and grabbed Hanekawa’s wrist, guiding his hand to her chest.

"…?"

Hanekawa looked at her, realizing that she wasn’t holding back at all in pursuing her desires.

Was this what happened when a restrained person finally let loose?

His other hand moved downward, giving her a light slap on the hip.

He was probably the first person in history to so brazenly spank Kaguya Otsutsuki.

"Enough. If we continue, I won’t be able to teach you taijutsu today."

Hanekawa took a couple of deep breaths and said.

Kaguya’s eyes gradually returned to normal.

She then realized that she had completely indulged in her desires just now.

But… the feeling wasn’t unpleasant.

"Mm."

Kaguya let go of him with a calm expression and turned to leave the house.

"She’s just like a heartless femme fatale."

Hanekawa muttered under his breath.

Whether it was kissing or intimate physical contact, Kaguya’s expression barely changed.

Blushing? That was never going to happen.

But her body was quite soft… and very honest.

Hanekawa stood across from Kaguya.

After some thought, he decided to teach her Uchiha-style taijutsu.

The battle began.

Yesterday, Hanekawa had been able to dominate using taijutsu alone.

But today, that was no longer the case.

Because Kaguya had learned taijutsu.

She combined Konoha-style taijutsu with her ability to copy and replicate the Uchiha style.

Aside from her lack of combat experience, she was already on par with Hanekawa.

But since her raw strength was greater, that alone compensated for her lack of experience.

All in all, they were evenly matched.

Noon arrived.

"I’ve learned it. I’m done."

Kaguya stopped moving and declared.

She had actually mastered it earlier, but sparring with Hanekawa was enjoyable, so she played along for a bit longer.

"Let’s go inside and rest."

Hanekawa extended his hand.

"Mm."

Kaguya took his hand.

The two of them entered the living room and sat on the sofa.

Hanekawa looked at her cold, indifferent expression and couldn’t help but run his fingers through her silky hair.

Her hair was long, draping over the sofa with a large portion piled up.

After a moment of thought, Kaguya leaned against him.

She inhaled his scent and suddenly remembered something from that book.

She stuck out her soft, red tongue.

Hanekawa’s body tensed.

He felt the wet sensation against his cheek.

Instinctively, he lowered his head and saw Kaguya licking him like a cat.

And the strangest part—her expression was completely blank, as if she was doing something as mundane as drinking tea.

"You… What are you doing?"

Hanekawa swallowed hard and asked.

Why had Kaguya suddenly become like this?

He wasn’t used to it at all.

Kaguya looked up at him.

For a moment, she wasn’t sure how to answer.

"Do you not like it?"

She remained silent for two seconds before asking.

"I like it."

Hanekawa hesitated, then finally nodded.

Saying otherwise would be too dishonest.

Kaguya seemed to ponder something.

That book was indeed quite useful.

Hanekawa’s gaze fell upon her fair, delicate neck, and just below it—her elegant collarbones.

Unfortunately, the kimono covered the milky, radiant skin beneath.

"Do you want to see?"

Kaguya Otsutsuki noticed his gaze and asked.

"Yes."

Hanekawa answered honestly.

Kaguya pinched the collar of her kimono and gently pulled it down, revealing her snow-white skin.

Hanekawa’s eyes widened in surprise.

This… was far too generous!

He could even see the slight rise and fall of her chest as she breathed.

Kaguya observed his expression.

She didn’t quite understand why Hanekawa was reacting so strongly.

To her, at their level, the body was nothing more than a vessel.

The Karma and Vessel concepts among the Otsutsuki clan made that clear enough.

Through sacrificing the Divine Tree or suffering fatal injuries, an Otsutsuki could transform into a Karma mark imprinted on another’s body, eventually resurrecting through possession.

However, Kaguya had never switched bodies—because she had never made a sacrifice.

Technically, the Otsutsuki clan was immortal, but resurrection through Karma required a long recovery period.

Kaguya had ambushed Isshiki Otsutsuki precisely because she didn’t want to lose her freedom.

Of course, obtaining the Divine Tree’s chakra fruit was also a motivation.

Snapping back to the present, Kaguya frowned slightly.

At some point, Hanekawa had buried his face in her chest like a child seeking comfort.

She felt… something she couldn’t quite describe.

Instinctively, she wrapped her arms around Hanekawa’s head.

His warm breath caressed her skin, sending a shiver through her body.

Her heartbeat quickened, and a tingling sensation spread through her.

Kaguya’s eyelashes trembled slightly.

For the first time, a dazed, dreamy look appeared on her face.

Strange… yet pleasant.

Resting her chin on Hanekawa’s hair, she took a moment to savor the experience.

"What was that?"

Kaguya suddenly asked.

"Nothing."

Hanekawa lifted his hand, coughed lightly, and said, "I’m going to make lunch."

"Mm."

Kaguya glanced at him and released her hold.

Sitting on the sofa, she started reflecting.

Had she been indulging too much these past two days?

Facing Hanekawa, she had felt something… difficult to control.

Why?

As Hanekawa walked into the kitchen, Kaguya casually picked up the book again.

Flipping through it quickly, she stopped at a page.

"Love is a form of control and possession."

Kaguya pondered for a moment.

She really didn’t want to be separated from Hanekawa.

She turned another page.

The content had changed.

"Reproduction requires mutual love between both parties."

Kaguya closed the book.

It seemed she would have to fulfill her promise eventually.

She just wasn’t sure if it would be as enjoyable as the book described.

To her, the most pleasurable thing in life had always been absorbing chakra.

After Lunch, Outside the House

"Use Earth Release against me today."

Hanekawa thought for a moment before saying.

The S-rank ability "Yin-Yang Release" required all seven elemental ninjutsu types to reach 300% amplification.

So far, only his Water Release and Fire Release had met the requirement—the other five were still halfway there.

"I don’t know Earth Release."

Kaguya shook her head.

"You have the Rinne Sharingan. I’ll demonstrate once, and you’ll learn it immediately."

Hanekawa swiftly formed hand seals.

He started with basic D-rank Earth Release jutsu and gradually escalated to S-rank techniques.

"I’ve learned it. Shall we begin?"

Kaguya nodded and asked.

"Mm."

Hanekawa paused, then added, "You need to suppress your chakra."

If she didn’t hold back, there was no way he could compete.

"Like this?"

Kaguya deactivated her Rinne Sharingan, and her aura instantly weakened.

"Good girl."

Hanekawa couldn’t help but chuckle.

Kaguya blinked.

Was he really that happy?

He was… easy to manipulate.

She raised her hand.

Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld!

The ground around Hanekawa instantly turned into a deep, sticky mire.

Wood Release: Giant Wood Pillar Technique!

Reacting swiftly, Hanekawa clapped his hands together.

A massive wooden pillar surged up from the swamp, lifting him into the air and away from the sinking ground.

Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!

Kaguya calmly formed hand seals.

With her power, she didn’t actually need to do so—but this spar was just a game for her.

She took her time.

The ground rumbled, and a dragon’s head emerged, firing a compressed ball of mud.

The projectile struck Hanekawa’s wooden pillar.

Crack!

The massive pillar snapped in half.

Earth Release: Falling Clay!

As Hanekawa fell from the sky, he quickly formed another set of hand seals.

Above Kaguya, the air distorted—then a barrage of clay descended.

Earth Release: Rock Arm!

Kaguya Otsutsuki watched Hanekawa intently.

Behind her, a massive arm rose, fingers spread wide, blocking the falling clay.

The two exchanged attacks back and forth until nightfall.

Hanekawa noticed a problem.

Even though Kaguya had suppressed her chakra, it was still difficult to determine a winner.

They simply had too much chakra.

"Let's stop here for today," Hanekawa said, glancing at the sky. "We'll continue tomorrow."

Although he hadn’t unlocked a new trait, he had nothing else to do, so he treated this as a way to give Kaguya more battle experience.

Who knows? If they kept at it long enough, a new trait might emerge.

"Mm."

Kaguya stepped closer to him. "I’m going to pick up Tsukihime."

One Month Later – The Shinobi Sect

At 9 AM, all the students gathered in the square on time.

"Do you know why the Goddess founded the Shinobi Sect?"

Once everyone had assembled, Hanekawa spoke.

Kaguya Otsutsuki, standing behind him, instinctively turned to look at him.

She felt a bit confused.

Was this something he could say openly?

But she trusted Hanekawa, so she remained silent.

The students, including Haori and Futami, exchanged glances.

They had long wanted to ask this question.

After all, before the Goddess of the Rabbit, the deities of the ninja world had never cared about their lives or strength—they only demanded sacrifices.

"For peace."

Hanekawa’s expression was serious. "Every ninja of the Shinobi Sect must take it upon themselves to maintain peace in the ninja world."

The students were stunned.

They had never imagined that the Goddess would have such a noble ideal.

But when they thought about it carefully, it made sense.

If she didn’t have this belief, why would she have shared chakra with them?

Kaguya fell silent upon hearing this.

Peace? That had never been her goal.

"After two months of training, many of you have become qualified ninjas," Hanekawa continued.

"But staying in the Shinobi Sect alone cannot maintain peace. You must venture out into the world."

"Teacher, are you kicking us out?"

Futami's heart trembled, and he asked anxiously.

"We’re not leaving!" The others shouted in unison.

Here in the Shinobi Sect, they had food, clothing, and a place to train in ninjutsu.

If possible, they would stay here forever.

"You misunderstand." Hanekawa shook his head. "I’m not sending you away—I’m assigning you missions. Once you complete them, you can return."

Hearing this, the students collectively sighed in relief.

"Step forward when I call your name."

Hanekawa read out names unhurriedly. "Yuuji, Soukai... Kajiwara..."

After two months of growth, the Shinobi Sect had expanded to 200 members.

Hanekawa selected fifty of them.

"For these missions, you will form ninja squads."

He explained, "Each squad will consist of four members: one captain and three subordinates."

After some thought, he also introduced the concept of medical ninjas.

The Shinobi Sect didn’t yet have medical ninjas, but Hanekawa was laying the groundwork for history.

By taking over Tsunade’s role in establishing the medical ninja system, he could prevent her from developing a romantic relationship with Dan Kato.

"You are the elites of the Shinobi Sect. From today on, you will serve as squad captains."

Hanekawa paused before adding, "However, the ninja world is dangerous, so I will grant you additional chakra."

He raised both hands.

Fifty portions of chakra split off and entered the students’ bodies.

With his Sage Body and a portion of the Divine Tree’s chakra, Hanekawa possessed an almost inexhaustible supply of energy.

Giving away fifty portions was negligible to him.

He could replenish it with minimal effort.

The moment the chakra entered them, the students’ power surged.

Their chakra levels reached those of an average Jōnin.

Of course, this didn’t mean they had truly become Jōnin.

Their chakra reserves had increased, but their ninjutsu proficiency and chakra control still required time and practice.

"Thank you, Teacher!"

The fifty selected students beamed with excitement.

"Each of you will choose three teammates, prepare your gear, and then set out."

Hanekawa instructed casually.

"Teacher, what are our missions?"

Someone asked curiously.

"You have two tasks," Hanekawa said after a moment’s thought.

"First, whenever you encounter injustice—such as bandits or rogue shinobi—you must act. Second, if you find anyone who wishes to join the Shinobi Sect, do not hesitate to share chakra seeds and ninjutsu with them."

With that, he created another fifty portions of chakra.

But this time, they weren’t just raw chakra—they were highly refined chakra seeds.

Each portion of chakra could be divided into a hundred chakra seeds.

Once they ran out, they could return to the Shinobi Sect to request more from him.

Hanekawa believed that within a year, the entire ninja world would be filled with Shinobi Sect students.

After all, who could resist the temptation of becoming stronger?

"There are many malevolent gods in the ninja world," Hanekawa said with a smile. "When you go on missions, you will likely encounter them."

"The Rabbit Goddess is merciful and has granted you a life-saving gift."

He turned to look at Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Kaguya waved her hand, sending fifty leaves from the Divine Tree into the air, where they hovered in front of the students.

They had discussed this beforehand, so she had no reservations about giving them away.

Besides, now that she had mastered Sage Mode, these so-called "gods" were merely potential nourishment—sources of natural energy for her.

"If you find yourselves in danger, channel chakra into the leaf, and the Goddess and I will come to your aid," Hanekawa explained.

"Understood!"

The students responded in unison.

"Go and make your preparations."

Hanekawa waved them off.

The students immediately began forming squads in the square.

Even Tsukihime joined, becoming one of Futami's teammates.

With her strength, she was more than qualified to be a squad leader.

But with her childish personality, she wasn’t suited for leadership.

To her, whether she was the captain or a team member didn’t matter—this was just another adventure.

---

"Well? What do you think?"

Hanekawa turned to Kaguya.

"Lies, lies, and more lies," Kaguya said after a brief pause. "But I like it."

Hanekawa couldn't help but chuckle.

She was probably referring to his claim that the Shinobi Sect was founded to maintain peace in the ninja world.

"Let's go back and spar."

Hanekawa took her hand.

Over the past month, their constant sparring had finally triggered a new trait.

Or rather, it had begun to fill a progress bar.

[S-Rank Trait: Ninjutsu Mastery (Not Acquired)]
[Unlock Condition: Spar with Kaguya Otsutsuki using ninjutsu.]
[Current Progress: 69%]

Hanekawa had no idea what this trait would do.

But given its name, it was likely related to ninjutsu power.

Once he fully unlocked it, he’d find out.
