Wow. This story is just amazecredibeautasticraze. That's really all there is to say. Thanks for sharing it

Aww, look what you did, you made me go and give you money again. <3

It very much looks like Kim will play the lead role in Ronnie Awning's "A Farewell to Arms"!

I never considered that. I'm thinking it was a choice. She seems to think that her organic body is her 'real' body, while the prosthetics are a substitute. Perhaps she designed the prosthetics to mimic organic function because, psychologically, she felt that would be more real. Or perhaps she was worried not being able to cry would only make her more unusual and less accepted by normal (in so far as anyone in Dresden Codak is normal) people. After all she originally hid her prosthetic arm under a glove for the same reason.

Suspense! Feels! I'm so excited. Thank you Aaron!

Thank you. Comforting 'cat' is 'comforting'.

It is fascinating to me that both of Kim's eyes still produce tears. Are the tears in her prosthetic eye from the remnants of her organic nasolacrimal duct, or are they synthetic? I can understand why Kim would have designed her prosthetic eye to stay as lubricated as an organic eye, but she would not have struck me as the type to also design it to overflow during periods of emotional stress.

The TV cat is totally a digitized Kusanagi. *fingers crossed* Emotional Kim is best Kim, probably because you don't see her sad or afraid or in pain very often. How she tries to stay tough but just breaks down makes this one of my favourite issues so far. Call it a close tie with Father Abaddon's "I've never stopped" face.

Amazing work, Aaron! Can't wait to see what is in store next. So far the story has been quite inspiring, encouraging me to play a bit more with hardware at work. Did you get the chance to take a holiday yet?
