306. A Night for Three

"You have time to think it over."

Hanekawa smiled as he met her gaze.

Samui silently lowered her head again.

She gritted her teeth slightly, her blue-green eyes occasionally flickering with white as her expression grew dazed.

Hanekawa couldn’t help but exhale.

No wonder shinobi were called ninja—they really knew how to endure.

Just then, Hanekawa’s eyebrow twitched.

Because Kaguya had appeared.

She made no effort to hide herself, standing plainly in front of the two.

Samui was startled.

Her nervousness made her breathing erratic, her neck rising and falling with each gasp.

Hanekawa winced slightly.

After recovering for a few seconds, he waved at Kaguya.

"Samui, she’s one of us. Don’t worry. Keep thinking, and tell me your answer when you’re ready."

Hanekawa patted Samui’s head.

Samui froze.

She had known Hanekawa wouldn’t have only her as a woman, but this was her first time experiencing it firsthand.

After a few seconds of silence, she could only ignore Kaguya.

"Did you need something?"

Hanekawa removed Kaguya’s mask and asked.

"I’m going to Kumogakure with you."

Kaguya stated flatly.

"You didn’t even have to ask—I was taking you anyway."

Hanekawa smiled.

With him and Kaguya together, no amount of preparations or ambushes from Kumogakure would matter.

"Mm."

Kaguya glanced at Samui, who was swaying slightly, then leaned down toward Hanekawa.

Her beautiful, delicate face remained expressionless, but her actions made her intentions clear.

Hanekawa naturally didn’t refuse. In fact, he was thrilled.

Though it would test his endurance, he trusted his Ōtsutsuki physique. Whether it was one versus two or one versus ten, it was no issue.

Hanekawa leaned in and kissed Kaguya’s lips.

Softness and a faint, refreshing scent greeted him.

He raised a hand to the back of Kaguya’s neck.

Her ANBU uniform slipped away.

Samui looked up.

But she couldn’t see Hanekawa—only Kaguya.

Samui felt her throat tighten.

Kaguya was too perfect, exuding an aura that was both terrifying and alluring.

Fortunately, Samui had her own overwhelming advantage.

Thinking this, she placed her assets squarely on Hanekawa’s lap.

Hanekawa blinked.

Unable to speak, he could only raise a hand to help ease Kaguya’s burden.

At the same time, he instinctively compared the weight on his legs.

Each had its own unique appeal.

A long while later, their lips parted.

Kaguya took a breath before immediately frowning.

Samui was in her way.

Her displeasure was obvious this time, and Hanekawa noticed.

He knew exactly what this emotion was.

In fact, if not for him, Kaguya might have outright killed Samui.

After some thought, he came up with a solution.

"Samui."

Hanekawa instructed, "You’re tired. Lie down on the couch and rest for a bit."

Samui was confused but obeyed.

Wiping her lips, she stood and lay on the sofa.

"Kaguya, you rest too."

Hanekawa reached out and pinched Kaguya’s cheek.

Samui immediately understood his plan.

She gritted her teeth, finding the situation bizarre.

But at this point, there was nothing she could do.

Kaguya’s thoughts were simple.

As long as she got her rightful place, that was enough.

Even if today, that place was shared with Samui.

The Hokage’s office sofa wasn’t large.

But it could fit two people.

If not side by side, then lengthwise.

Hanekawa felt an unprecedented sense of fulfillment.

He stepped forward.

Lifting a hand, he patted Kaguya’s pale backside.

"Mm."

Kaguya let out a muffled sound.

This was followed by Samui’s involuntary trembling.

She clearly wasn’t as composed as Kaguya.

After all, she wasn’t an alien.

Time passed slowly.

Exhausted, Samui eventually fell asleep.

Some time later, she woke again.

She realized she was no longer in the Hokage’s office but in an unfamiliar room.

As she gathered her thoughts, she saw Kaguya and Hanekawa still going strong into the night.

Samui’s eyes widened.

What shocked her wasn’t Hanekawa—it was Kaguya.

She knew Hanekawa’s strength well. He was, without a doubt, the strongest shinobi alive.

But Kaguya? She was matching him blow for blow, neither gaining the upper hand.

"Samui, come here."

Hanekawa noticed she was awake and called out.

Though she was weak, he loved a good fight—the more opponents, the better.

Samui, suppressing the soreness in her thighs, stood and walked toward him.

Hanekawa openly admired her voluptuous figure, especially the way her damp, trembling skin glistened enticingly.

Kaguya hesitated for a few seconds before reluctantly making space.

In her eyes, Samui was weak. She’d lose quickly and stop being a nuisance.

"Hanekawa."

Samui knelt, took a deep breath, and said with satisfaction, "I’ve made up my mind. You’d be a perfect Fifth Raikage."

"When I become the Fifth Raikage, you’ll be my secretary."

Hanekawa grinned.

"Mm... okay..."

Samui’s face flushed, her eyes misting over.

The next second, she felt hands on her waist.

At first, she thought it was Hanekawa—but soon realized her mistake.

Looking down, she saw Kaguya’s hands.

Samui froze before understanding what was happening.

She opened her mouth to protest, but it was too late.

Hanekawa chuckled.

With Kaguya’s assistance, Samui lost even faster and more thoroughly.

But Hanekawa found it exhilarating.

The rapidly escalating battle sent his adrenaline soaring.

Once Samui was down, Kaguya reclaimed her dominance.

Her pale, beautiful eyes narrowed slightly.

Night fell.

Hanekawa yawned and drifted into a cramped, crowded dreamscape.

He dreamed of four moons.

---

The Next Morning

Hanekawa woke up.

Staring at an unfamiliar ceiling, it took him a moment to remember he was in Kaguya’s room.

Turning his head, he saw familiar white eyes.

Kaguya.

"You were very obedient last night."

Hanekawa’s gaze trailed downward, taking in the unobstructed view.

Given Kaguya’s nature, she wouldn’t have slept—she’d have kept going until dawn.

But under Hanekawa’s orders, she had relented.

Even if only for two hours of sleep.

Hanekawa didn’t strictly need sleep.

But he was accustomed to it.

And since Samui needed rest, he had Kaguya stand down for those two hours.

Thinking this, he glanced back.

Samui was sound asleep.

Her steady breathing suggested deep slumber.

Which made sense.

Last night, Samui had experienced sunset three times. For her, that was beyond her limits.

"To the Hokage’s office."

Hanekawa got out of bed and said.

As for Samui, he’d let her sleep.

What a shame.

Hanekawa felt a twinge of regret.

Such decadence deserved to continue, but as Hokage, he couldn’t disappear for too long.

If someone panicked and went to Tsunade, things could get messy.

If he vanished for just one night, Tsunade wouldn’t suspect anything—she’d assume he’d gone home to Kurenai.

But disappearing for a full day or two? That would raise questions.

Hanekawa now deeply understood the complexities of time management.

---

Hokage’s Office

Hanekawa sat down and stretched.

Kaguya, now in her ANBU uniform, stood expressionlessly behind him.

Her cold, alluring demeanor was reserved for last night.

A knock sounded at the door.

Kaguya glanced at Hanekawa before vanishing.

"Enter."

Hanekawa looked up to see Mabui—white-haired and dark-skinned.

"Lord Hokage."

Mabui bowed deeply.

"What brings you here?"

Hanekawa asked casually.

Mabui hesitated.

She had come to ask about Samui.

Because she hadn’t seen her in a long time.

From yesterday afternoon until this morning, Mabui had searched everywhere with no sign of Samui.

It was as if she had disappeared.

"Lord Hokage."

Mabui chose her words carefully. "We plan to depart for Kumogakure this morning."

"No need for that hassle."

Hanekawa shook his head. "I’ll use the Flying Thunder God to send you back."

"Flying Thunder God?"

Mabui was stunned.

The Flying Thunder God was a space-time ninjutsu capable of transporting people.

But the distance between Konoha and Kumogakure was vast. Even if possible, it would require an immense amount of chakra.

Could Hanekawa really do it?

Mabui—like most people—still judged Hanekawa’s strength based on the Third Shinobi War.

Back then, he hadn’t yet traveled to the ancient era. To them, he was simply a powerful shinobi with Wood Release, comparable to Hashirama Senju.

But the current Hanekawa was, in every sense, invincible.

"Let’s say ten o’clock."

Hanekawa thought for a moment. "Meet me at Konoha’s main gate."

Samui was still asleep. Three more hours should be enough.

As a shinobi, her stamina recovered faster than a normal human’s.

"Understood."

Mabui, seeing Hanekawa left no room for negotiation, could only agree.

"Anything else?"

Hanekawa waved a hand. "If not, go prepare."

"Lord Hokage."

Mabui took a deep breath. "Samui has been in Konoha for three months. I hope she can return with us this time."

"Of course."

Hanekawa nodded.

"Do you know where she is now?"

Mabui asked cautiously.

"I assigned her a mission yesterday. She’s probably busy."

Hanekawa smiled slightly. "Don’t worry. She’ll definitely be there by ten."

"Understood."

Mabui relaxed.

At least Samui was safe.

She had worried Samui’s interrogation attempt might have been discovered, leading to torture—or worse.

"Lord Hokage, I’ll take my leave."

Mabui bowed and exited.

The door closed.

Hanekawa picked up a file from his desk.

Many were related to the new departments.

Both Hizashi and Rin had worked quickly.

Or, more accurately, they dared not delay.

The Mining Division’s roster was nearly complete.

Unsurprisingly, it was filled with Hyūga clansmen.

The Medical Division was slower.

Rin lacked the backing of a major clan.

Fortunately, she had Konoha’s hospital.

With Yakushi Nono’s help, she had already identified several candidates.

Overall, things were progressing smoothly.

---

9:30 AM

Hanekawa stood and went next door to the Hokage’s secretary office.

He was about to leave for Kumogakure and wasn’t sure when he’d return, so he needed to inform Kurenai.

As his secretary, she could handle minor affairs in his absence.

Hanekawa knocked.

"Come in."

Kurenai, seated at her desk, straightened up, her face serious.

Upon seeing Hanekawa, her expression instantly brightened.

"What brings you here?"

She stood and hurried over.

"Can’t I visit?"

Hanekawa flicked her forehead. "I am the Hokage."

"I meant you haven’t come to see me in two days!"

Kurenai pouted.

Hanekawa coughed awkwardly.

Yesterday had been entirely consumed by Samui and Kaguya. He had forgotten about Kurenai—he hadn’t even gone home to cook for her.

"Even when you’re angry, you’re adorable."

Hanekawa pulled her into a hug.

"Sweet talker!"

Kurenai huffed.

But she wasn’t actually upset.

"I’m just being honest."

Hanekawa’s right hand slid downward, cupping her plush thigh. "You really are cute."

"Can’t you compliment me without groping me?"

Kurenai instinctively tensed her legs.

"This isn’t groping. It’s a massage to relieve fatigue."

Hanekawa said with mock seriousness.

Kurenai shuddered.

She felt Hanekawa’s fingers hook under the bandages wrapping her thighs.

Warmth crept upward.

"You jerk!"

Blushing, Kurenai pushed him away. "What did you come here for?"

"I’m heading out for a while. I’ll need Secretary Kurenai to manage Konoha in my absence."

Hanekawa grinned.

"Leave it to me!"

Kurenai puffed out her chest. "I won’t let you down!"

Hanekawa’s gaze immediately dropped to her neckline.

Her motion made the mesh lining and pale skin beneath clearly visible.

"How do I look?"

Noticing his stare, Kurenai fought her embarrassment and asked.

Though bolder than most girls, the question still flustered her.

"Very nice."

Hanekawa stepped closer, admiring the details.

Kurenai’s face turned crimson at his blunt praise.

Hanekawa leaned in and kissed her.

Kurenai instinctively looped her arms around his neck, parting her lips to grant him access.

A long while later, they separated.

After the fierce exchange, Kurenai was left breathless, her eyes hazy with desire.

Seeing her like this—both sexy and adorable—Hanekawa mused that it might be time to take the next step into her heart.

Gently, he stroked her hair.

"When are you leaving?"

Kurenai, regaining her senses, felt only sweetness and happiness at his touch.

"In half an hour."

Hanekawa guided her to the desk. "Any issues you couldn’t handle these past two days?"

"A few!"

Kurenai perked up. "Perfect timing—you can deal with them."

She sat in the office chair—then immediately realized a problem.

"You should sit here."

She stood quickly.

"No need for formalities."

Hanekawa sat and pulled her onto his lap. "This way, we both can."

"Mm."

Kurenai picked up a file, settling in.

Half an hour later, everything was resolved.

"You’re amazing."

Kurenai exhaled in relief.

"It’s not about skill—just practice."

Hanekawa shook his head. "Once you’re used to the work, these things will be trivial."

"I’ll do my best!"

Kurenai clenched her fists.

Becoming the Hokage’s secretary had made her happy.

Because she could help Hanekawa.

When they’d been teammates, most missions hadn’t required her assistance.

His strength was simply too overwhelming.

"Then I’ll be off. Wait for me."

Hanekawa lifted a hand and gave her full backside a firm smack.

"Eek!"

Kurenai yelped, scrambling off his lap.

She glared at him. "You always bully me!"

"Only because you’re so cute."

Hanekawa vanished with a laugh.

Instead of heading straight to the gate, he returned to his office.

Samui was there.

"When did you get here?"

Hanekawa buried his face in her chest.

Soft, supple warmth pressed against his skin.

"About ten minutes ago."

Samui cradled his head, slightly embarrassed. "I just woke up."

"So you haven’t seen Mabui yet?"

Hanekawa inhaled her rich fragrance.

"No."

Samui paled, panic rising. "She came looking for me?"

"Yes."

Hanekawa felt her heartbeat quicken and reassured her. "Don’t worry. I told her you were on a mission and needed time."

"Thank you."

Samui relaxed.

She didn’t want Mabui knowing about her relationship with Hanekawa.

It would be a betrayal of Kumogakure.

And as the Raikage’s secretary, Mabui’s loyalty was absolute.

If she found out, their friendship might shatter.

But... Samui thought of Hanekawa’s goal.

If he did become the Fifth Raikage, they wouldn’t need to hide anymore.

"Kaguya."

Hanekawa called out.

Kaguya appeared.

"It’s time. Let’s go."

Hanekawa pulled away from Samui’s warmth and activated the Flying Thunder God.

The three appeared at Konoha’s main gate.

"Samui, are you okay?"

Mabui rushed over upon seeing her.

"I’m fine."

Samui shook her head. "Just finished a mission."

"Save the small talk for later. First, Kumogakure."

Hanekawa waved a hand, his chakra enveloping the group.

Flying Thunder God!

They vanished, reappearing instantly at Kumogakure’s entrance.

Mabui and the others were stunned.

This was terrifying

A single gesture had brought them home.

Mabui’s thoughts raced further.

In wartime, Hanekawa’s abilities would be catastrophic.

A long-range Flying Thunder God assault? Who could predict that?

Especially from a shinobi of Hanekawa’s caliber.

Mabui’s dark skin paled slightly.

The more she considered it, the more hopeless Kumogakure’s situation seemed.

Unless they could eliminate Hanekawa.

"Mabui."

Samui nudged her out of her daze.

"Lord Hokage."

Mabui collected herself. "Please follow me to meet the Raikage."

Their arrival hadn’t gone unnoticed.

One guard had already rushed off to inform the Fourth Raikage.

Hanekawa followed Mabui and Samui into the village.

He’d been here once before (albeit as a shadow clone), so the surroundings were familiar.

Halfway there, the sound of rushing wind announced three figures landing before them.

"Hokage, your presence honors Kumogakure."

The Fourth Raikage boomed.

Hanekawa smirked.

Desperate times made even the Raikage polite.

Behind him, Yugito Nii had learned nothing, glaring daggers at Hanekawa as if awaiting orders to strike.

Killer B, ever the pragmatist, remained silent.

"Not at all."

Hanekawa smiled faintly. "Raikage, have you forgotten? I’m also a Kumogakure shinobi."

The Raikage froze.

He glanced at Mabui.

What’s this?

A spy admitting it outright?

Mabui was equally baffled.

She recalled Hanekawa’s earlier deal—letting him keep his Kumo-nin status.

But what was the point?

Hanekawa was the Hokage. No one would believe such a claim.

She looked to Samui for answers but got none.

"Raikage."

Hanekawa continued, "Is the place I used to stay still around?"

"It is."

The Raikage, unsure of Hanekawa’s angle, played along.

After all, who’d believe a Hokage wanted to become Raikage?

"I’ll visit it later."

Hanekawa’s expression turned nostalgic.

"Lord Raikage."

Mabui interjected. "Perhaps Samui could escort the Hokage there first while we prepare a proper welcome at the Raikage’s office."

"Mabui’s right."

The Raikage caught her drift. "The Hokage’s arrival was unexpected. We’re unprepared."

"Fine by me."

Hanekawa didn’t mind.

He was curious what they’d try.

Samui bit her tongue, saying nothing.

Words were useless now.

"Lord Hokage, this way."

Samui turned to lead.

Hanekawa and Kaguya followed her toward Kumogakure’s orphanage.
