Seeing the forest corroded into a chaotic mess, Danzō finally showed a rare smile.
It was as if the fully transformed Six-Tails had finally piqued his interest.
However, this interest didn't last long.
In Konoha's carefully laid-out plan, this battle had to be concluded swiftly to demonstrate Konoha's overwhelming and terrifying strength to the entire ninja world.
Thus, Danzō had no choice but to get serious.
"In that case, let's use this move."
"Wood Release: Wood Human Technique!"
He clapped his hands together once more.
Then, under the Six-Tails' stunned gaze, a wooden giant even larger than the Susanoo emerged from the ground!
As Danzō landed on the head of this wooden giant, the original Susanoo disappeared, replaced by the Tengu armor covering the wooden figure.
"Armored Susanoo."
After equipping the wooden giant with a thick layer of Susanoo armor, Danzō finally moved.
The massive fists, enveloped in chakra, rained down like a storm on the Six-Tails' tender body.
Despite the corrosive liquid the Six-Tails secreted on its surface, it couldn't stop Danzō's relentless assault.
While the corrosive mucus could damage the Susanoo and the wooden giant, Danzō could continuously replenish his chakra and create new Wood Release constructs.
If a fist was destroyed, he could simply replace it with a new one.
Thus, the Six-Tails experienced a level of violence it had never known since its birth.
Danzō's armored wooden giant mounted the Six-Tails and began pummeling it mercilessly.
The battle was earth-shattering, causing mountains to crumble and the ground to split.
Finally, the Six-Tails couldn't endure Danzō's brutality any longer and voluntarily exited its fully transformed state, returning control to its Jinchūriki, Utakata...
When Utakata regained control of his body and saw Danzō looming over him with a predatory gaze, he was completely dumbfounded.
Why hadn't this guy been defeated even after he went into tailed beast mode?
Why had the Six-Tails returned control to him if Danzō was still standing?
Utakata was baffled until a shocking possibility dawned on him.
Could it be...
that the Six-Tails had lost to Danzō? The moment this thought crossed his mind, Utakata could no longer remain calm.
He swallowed hard and was about to speak when Danzō knocked him out cold.
With that, the Six-Tails was captured, and both of the Land of Water's tailed beasts were now lost.
Not only that, after quelling the unrest in Kirigakure, Zabuza, the leader of the pro-Konoha faction, held an election and officially became the Fifth Mizukage.
He then abolished Mei Terumī's status as the Fourth Mizukage, branding her and the Third Mizukage, Yagura, as missing-nin.
S-rank missing-nin, no less!
Thus, the Land of Water achieved the unprecedented feat of having two consecutive Mizukage declared as S-rank missing-nin.
---
Meanwhile, thousands of miles away in the Land of Iron.
The Tsuchikage, Raikage, Kazekage, and Mizukage were still heatedly debating whether to allow Obito Uchiha to join the Allied Forces.
Suddenly, Obito barged into the conference room again.
"How dare you!!"
The Raikage slammed the table and stood up, roaring:
"I don't care who you are, but the Four Kage Summit is not a place you can barge into as you please!"
A terrifying aura erupted from the Raikage.
It was clear that he was thoroughly annoyed by Obito.
The other three Kage, including General Mifune, also showed displeasure.
This self-proclaimed mastermind behind the Nine-Tails incident was far too disrespectful!
This was the Four Kage Summit, not his personal playground!
Obito, however, paid no heed to their displeasure and merely chuckled.
"What if I told you that while you were wasting time debating these trivial matters, Kirigakure has already been destroyed by Konoha?"
These words struck like thunder in the ears of everyone present.
"That's impossible!"
Mei Terumī was the first to shout.
As the Mizukage, wouldn't she know if Kirigakure had been attacked?
Even if Konoha was powerful, how could they have quietly taken down an entire village in such a short time?
Not only Mei, but the other Kage also expressed disbelief.
If one of the Five Great Nations, Kirigakure, could be so easily destroyed by Konoha, wouldn't that make them all look like fools?
Facing their skepticism, Obito didn't bother to explain.
Because soon after, a Kirigakure shinobi rushed into the room.
He looked panicked and whispered something into Mei's ear.
Almost visibly, her face turned pale.
Even her delicate red lips couldn't hide her panic and fear.
This was almost unimaginable for a Kage.
Seeing her reaction, the others couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding.
The first to lose his composure was the Fourth Raikage, A, who frowned and asked:
"Mizukage, what exactly happened?!"
The others also quickly turned their attention to her, looking eager for answers.
Seeing this, Obito, who was lounging with his legs crossed, spoke up on her behalf:
"Konoha launched a blitzkrieg on Kirigakure. In less than half a day, Kirigakure has surrendered."
"Former Mizukage assistant Ao, Elder Genji, and the so-called 'Prodigy of the Seven Swords,' Mangetsu Hōzuki, have been declared dead."
"Pro-Konoha faction leader Zabuza has successfully taken over as the Fifth Mizukage."
"And our esteemed Mizukage here has been branded as..."
"An S-rank missing-nin!!"
Obito's words left the entire conference room in shock and silence.
This time, no one scolded Obito for his bold claims. Instead, they turned to Mei Terumī in disbelief and asked:
"Mizukage, is this true?"
Under their gaze, Mei clenched her fists and nodded with all her strength.
As she nodded, the room fell silent once more.
This was...
utterly unbelievable!
While it was expected that Kirigakure couldn't match Konoha, being overthrown in less than half a day was hard to accept.
After a few minutes, Mei Terumī slammed the table and stormed out of the room.
"Planning to go back to the Land of Water to die, former Mizukage?"
Obito didn't hesitate to taunt her.
This instantly ignited Mei's rage. She turned around and unleashed an attack without hesitation.
A stream of acidic liquid shot from her mouth, accompanied by billowing smoke, toward Obito.
Unfortunately, while the acid passed through his body, it didn't harm him at all. Instead, it melted a massive hole in the conference room wall.
Seeing this, Obito sneered:
"Do you really think you're a match for Danzō Shimura, Mizukage?"
