340. Efforts for Marriage

Hokage’s Office.

Hanekawa and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya stepped out of a dark portal.

With the Divine Tree in Mount Myōboku needing a month to bear fruit, there was no reason to stay. After all, no shinobi in the current era posed a threat to it.

"Kaguya."

Hanekawa glanced around—Samui was nowhere in sight.

Not surprising.

She had endured half an hour of his "Will of Fire" indoctrination earlier and was likely resting at home.

"I have a task for you."

He met Kaguya’s snow-white eyes. "Find Tsukihime and take her to Mount Myōboku."

While Samui could handle errands, only Kaguya and Tsukihime could oversee the God Tree’s reabsorption of the tailed beasts.

"Mm."

Kaguya nodded.

She had no designs on the third Divine Tree fruit.

First, she’d already promised it to Hanekawa.

Second, his enhanced strength (in every aspect) would… satisfy her needs.

Unaware of her scandalous thoughts, Hanekawa tested his new S-Rank Trait: Crane Hunter after she left.

He now possessed three types of Rinnegan:

1. Purple Rinnegan (six tomoe)—identical to Sasuke’s in the original story.

2. Blue Rinnegan (from Urashiki).

3. Gold Rinnegan (Crane Mode exclusive).

Closing his eyes, he reopened them—now azure.

"No noticeable difference in power…"

But its abilities were unique.

From Urashiki’s memories, Hanekawa’s body disintegrated into origami cranes, vanishing before reappearing near the sofa.

"A superior version of Itachi’s Crow Clone Technique."

In this form, he could evade most ninjutsu—only time-space techniques or dōjutsu could counter it.

Next, he formed a shadow clone to test the blue Rinnegan’s second ability: Time Replay.

Unlike true time reversal, this simulated three seconds into the future, allowing him to preview outcomes and choose the optimal counter.

"Perfect for intel gathering… but useless against other time-based abilities."

After several trials, he dismissed the clone and attempted to switch to the gold Rinnegan—but failed.

"As expected."

Even Urashiki needed Crane Mode to activate it.

Fortunately, Hanekawa now possessed the method to transform.

By noon, he’d mastered it.

His eyes turned gold, and a third Rinnegan opened on his forehead—yet his appearance remained unchanged (unlike Urashiki’s avian monstrosity).

Power surged through him, granting access to Amatsumikaboshi techniques.

A red fishing rod materialized in his grip.

"I’ve become a chakra fisherman…"

Before he could ponder this absurdity—

Knock. Knock.

"Enter."

Dispelling his transformations, he stowed the rod.

The door opened, revealing Tsunade.

"Sensei."

Hanekawa smiled. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Normally, he only saw her at night—her days were spent at the Network Division, indulging in gambling games.

(Three years of technological advancement had birthed digital card games—a perfect vice for her.)

Tsunade strode over and plopped onto his lap.

Hanekawa wrapped an arm around her waist while his other hand kneaded her thighs.

"How were your students at the academy this morning?"

She leaned into him, unfazed by his groping.

"Eager to prove themselves."

He inhaled her floral scent. "All aiming to be top of the class."

"Naturally. They emulate their teacher."

A nostalgic smile crossed her lips.

"Thinking of taking on a new student?"

He smacked her plump backside.

"One rebellious disciple is enough."

She rolled her eyes. "I don’t need another."

"Rebellious?"

Hanekawa’s gaze darkened. "Should I live up to that title?"

"I’m here on business."

Tsunade shivered under his stare and quickly changed the subject.

"What business?"

His hand crept higher up her thigh.

"The live-action Demon Slayer movie."

She grabbed his wrist, halting its advance.

"It’s finished?"

Hanekawa raised an eyebrow.

Three years ago, the Network Division had branched into film production—with Demon Slayer (his first non-h novel) as its debut project.

(Unlike Earth, ninjutsu provided real-life special effects—no CGI needed.)

"Yes. We need a release date."

"April 1st. Gives us time to market it."

"I’ll coordinate promotions."

She made to stand—but Hanekawa pulled her back.

"Leaving so soon?"

"Wait until tonight."

Tsunade glared.

"You think I’m that single-minded?"

He cupped her chest, smirking as her breath hitched. "I have serious matters to discuss."

"Wh-what?"

Her pupils dilated as his fingers traced her collarbone.

"Marriage."

His thumb brushed her lower lip. "It’s been years. Have you decided?"

Tsunade stiffened.

"You’re worried about gossip, but as emperor, I’ve silenced all dissent."

"People talk, even if not to your face."

She bit her lip.

"I have a solution."

Hanekawa’s grin turned wicked. "We marry together—you, me, and Kurenai."

"…What?"

"Shared spotlight means no one focuses on the teacher-student scandal."

Tsunade shoved him away and stood.

"That’s your plan? A harem wedding?!"

"Got a better idea?"

He remained shameless.

Tsunade kicked his shin and stormed toward the door.

"Sensei! Your answer?"

"I’ll think about it!"

She slammed the door behind her.

Hanekawa chuckled.

Her lack of outright refusal meant hope.

Night

Hanekawa found Tsunade and Yūhi Kurenai watching TV in the living room.

He wedged himself between them, leaning into Tsunade.

"What are you doing?"

She pushed his forehead away.

"Nothing."

He collapsed onto Kurenai’s lap instead.

"Explain it to her."

Tsunade crossed her arms. "I doubt she’ll agree either."

"Kurenai should know—it involves her."

Hanekawa whispered his "two brides" proposal into Kurenai’s ear.

"Eh?!"

Her face flushed crimson.

"See? Only this pervert could dream this up."

Tsunade snorted.

"Kurenai?"

Hanekawa took her hand. "What do you think?"

Kurenai glanced between them, then nodded shyly.

"I… I accept."

"You can’t be serious!"

Tsunade gaped.

"We’ll split the ceremonies—morning for you, afternoon for her."

Hanekawa beamed.

"You’re enjoying this too much!"

Tsunade tackled him onto the sofa.

What followed was a fierce battle—

Tsunade, fueled by rage, initially overpowered him.

But Hanekawa soon reversed the pin, forcing her to recruit Kurenai.

United, the teacher-student duo fought valiantly—

Yet by dawn, both lay exhausted, their bodies bearing the consequences of defiance.

One Month Later

Hanekawa and Kaguya returned to Mount Myōboku.

The Divine Tree shuddered—its third fruit ripened.

Plucking it, Hanekawa consumed its power.

A Rinne-Sharingan erupted on his forehead—identical to Kaguya’s.

The progenitor of all dōjutsu, obtainable only through Divine Tree fruit.

Now, his evolution was complete.
