I didn't manage a second strip and this installment of C6 is missing the intended 5th panel, because once again, my hands aren't cooperating with my brain. I fear the stress and fear of day to day life in our current climate is messing with me big time. Regardless, the show must go on and by god I'm pushing as hard as I can. ... that didn't sound like I intended.
MOVING ALONG!
I'd like to thank you all for sticking with me despite... everything that goes wrong around here, my sub-par art and my clearly DBZ roots clouding up everything. There's a million artists who do far better work and deserve your money and time more than me, but because of y'all, my agoraphobic butt can sit here and draw comics. I'll never have enough words or talent to thank you for making that possible.

Well now, it looks like Midnight and Sardonyx have been freed from Blackstone's control again, with both of them having the gradual realization that they were brought back to the Blackstone estate and both not being too pleased by this fact (poor Sardonyx especially feeling that stinging blow from Trina's punch and dismay that she was placed back under Blackstone's mind control, maybe due to her remembering certain events which happened during this time period [like bringing back Evita when they had tried to escape from Blackstone's grasp] and just how powerless she'd been during this experience, with her even thanking them for what they'd done to her, by completely suppressing her character development)! And looks like Zircon was also changed back to her original personality, one which certainly seems to be quite different from the way she had been acting during the time we've known her; which does make me wonder just how exactly Blackstone ended up recruiting her (but no need to go into detail about this just yet, unless it ends up being the key to explaining what Blackstone's abilities are like)... Midnight's latex pony girl outfit really looks good on them too (it showing off all of their curves very nicely indeed), even though she probably doesn't like wearing it that much (mainly due to how she didn't have any real control over her actions while wearing it, due to Blackstone's mental influence); maybe she might decide to try it on again willingly, once the group has finally dealt with Blackstone for good, hoping that she can finally conquer the mental hold which it might be holding over her life (while she also gives Michelle some moral support later on, all due to the duo having shared some similar experiences under Blackstone's control)? But it does seem like we will be changing perspective over to Michelle and Blackstone again soon, as Blackstone's busy continuing with her attempt to convince Michelle (who'd still be trying to resist this, even if all her efforts have actually been starting to falter slightly) that the red-head actually would actually be far happier as her latex pony girl, maybe by pointing out just how much Michelle's more docile behavior is contradicting all her claims of resisting Blackstone's recent orders. That would be something which might cause Michelle's already shaky confidence to take a major hit, since a part of her has probably been very aware of the fact that she's been falling down the slippery slope of submission, but actually being called out on this fact by Blackstone and belatedly realizing how true that is would really make it hit home! No matter what happens next, I'm getting the feeling that Michelle is going to need a fair amount of time to fully recover mentally from the whole experience (even if her dominant soul is restored); having days where she'd end up regressing back to her 'Red Knight' persona as a way to try and deal with extremely stressful situations... And don't worry about the 'art issues' (which doesn't seem that bad to me personally), okay? We're all willing to wait patiently for your comic updates, just stay safe, happy and healthy; while continuing to work away on things at the pace which you feel the most comfortable with.

Forced roll swaps make my skin crawl, so I’m glad to see Lady Midnight back. Bet she’s gonna want to kick some ass too! And I totally get art block right now. There’s so much shit going in and it’s awful. I think you’re pretty tough to keep creating through all of it.

2020-08-30 22:46:24 +0000 UTCIt's too bad the various ponies haven't mind broken (mind break) and simply surrendered/brain's rejigged themselves into thinking they really are ponies and it's all they ever were. A 'bad end' of sorts, that would end the comics, but a fun side thought.

I am not here for the fighting-scenes, but enough Trina in bondage makes up for it. ;-) Please don't push yourself too much, try to keep yourself healty. If Trina channeling just a portion of Laura's abilities, then it is kind of a good thing that Blackstone has Laura sequestered. Though she had better worry if and when Trina frees Laura and Laura comes back for Sixx.
