Concept Sketches: the Giantslayer
Added 2016-07-01 21:45:42 +0000 UTCI usually do a ton of sketches that I can't show at the time because it'll spoil the plot, and then I forget that I ever drew them! With that in mind, here are the original passes at doing Azra-El the Giantslayer.

2016-07-01 22:05:58 +0000 UTCAzra's design was always meant to evoke a kind of Frazetta/Princess of Mars feel, where you have primitive people adapting and using technology far beyond what they're used to. One of my favorite things about even shlocky shows like He-Man is how you'd have basically a feudal kingdom with swords and horses, that *also* had access to ray guns and spaceships.
