336. God Trials Completed

Spirit City.

Qian Renjue and Ling Yuan Douluo had just appeared in the training room.

Ling Yuan eagerly moved close to him. With Bibi Dong's permission, she felt encouraged to pursue her desires.

Leaving Qian Renjue feeling helpless and overwhelmed.

Meanwhile…

A golden meteor streaked across the sky, descending toward the Douluo Hall atop the mountain.

This was the final trial of Qian Renxue's nine god trials.

Inside the Pope's Hall…

Bibi Dong looked up, as if sensing something, and immediately stood.

"Xiao Xue is about to emerge!"

In the training room…

Qian Renjue seemed to sense something as well.

He brushed off Ling Yuan's advances and withdrew his hand from her clothing, exiting the training room with his delighted companion.

"It's really Sister's aura—she's finally coming out!"

Ling Yuan, adjusting her attire, was surprised by his words.

"Miss Xue?!"

Before she could finish, Qian Renjue unfurled his black six wings and shot out of the courtyard like a dark flash.

"Your Highness!"

Ling Yuan pursued him, watching him soar through the sky, following that golden light.

From the direction of the Pope’s Hall, a purple flash also sped toward the mountaintop.

The black, purple, and golden lights wove trails in the sky, converging as the golden light landed atop Douluo Hall, illuminating the entire structure. The glow was so bright it could be seen from the mountain’s base.

Swoosh—

The black light descended at the hall’s entrance, revealing Qian Renjue: silver hair, crimson eyes, fair skin, and a slender build.

Following closely was the purple light, landing by his side.

Bibi Dong, her six purple wings folded, wore the Pope’s formal attire, with a purple-gold crown and a golden staff.

She glanced at Qian Renjue beside her, smiling as she retracted her wings and took his arm.

"Jue"

"Mhm."

Qian Renjue didn’t move, responding with a faintly cold hum.

Her warm face met her beloved son’s cold indifference, and Bibi Dong’s smile faltered.

Noticing the faint scent of Ling Yuan on him, her purple eyes narrowed, invoking a motherly concern as she ordered coldly, "Jue, you’d better put away your spirit!"

At her words, his black wings bristled slightly, but they gradually dissipated.

Qian Renjue reverted to his golden hair and purple eyes, avoiding Bibi Dong’s frustrated gaze.

“Hmph! You don’t want to see your mom?”

Bibi Dong gave a soft snort, for despite his growth, Qian Renjue was still her son.

He looked at her with a sheepish grin. “Of course not! I was just wondering how to apologize to you.”

“Oh, really?”

Bibi Dong’s stern expression softened into a sly smile as she playfully pinched his cheek. “Mom just thought of something—how about you carry me down the mountain as an apology?”

“Okay!”

Qian Renjue nodded enthusiastically.

“Good boy. Mwah!” Bibi Dong, standing on her toes, planted a small kiss on his cheek and laughed, “Mom won’t let you go unrewarded!”

Seeing her smug expression, Qian Renjue couldn’t help but smile as well.

Just then, a warm breeze blew, and the mother and son’s gazes lifted skyward.

A golden figure descended to the ground, emanating divine majesty.

“Grandpa, you’re here too.”

Qian Renjue greeted Qian Daoliu happily.

Bibi Dong’s smile faded quickly, and she merely nodded at him.

“Great Worship.”

“Indeed.”

Qian Daoliu was unbothered by her reaction, merely smiling kindly at Qian Renjue.

The three generations turned their gaze to the entrance of Douluo Hall.

Inside Douluo Hall…

All the titled plaques on the walls trembled.

In the air, Qian Renxue, sitting cross-legged, slowly stood up.

Her golden hair cascaded down her back, and her beauty radiated purity and divine authority, as though untouched by mortal concerns.

Her figure was slender, full, and perfectly proportioned, with straight, graceful legs.

Her six white wings glowed gold, connected to each plaque by threads of golden light.

Her seven spirit rings—three purple, three black, one red—emitted layers of golden light, surrounded by nine orbs rotating around her.

Each orb reflected scenes from the mortal world which was her trials: bandits pillaging, slums plagued by violence, corrupt officials exploiting commoners, dishonest merchants deceiving customers…

Scenes of both good and evil circulated within those orbs.

Qian Renxue’s eyes remained closed, her forehead marked with an angel’s six-winged seal that pulsed with light.

Each pulse brought forth a question from the Angel God, judging each act of evil in the visions.

Before long, in response to Qian Renxue’s answers, the bandits vanished, and the slum tyrants disintegrated into dust.

Swoosh—

After an unknown length of time, the nine orbs transformed back into golden figures, slowly merging into Qian Renxue.

As her spirit power surged, the sacred yet authoritative voice of the Angel God resonated in her mind.

[The First Angel Trial: A Perfect Completion of Heart Tempering and Judgment of Good and Evil!]

[Angel Affinity increased by 10%; the first three spirit rings advanced to ten-thousand-year status!]

With the proclamation, her purple spirit rings darkened to a deep, near-black purple.

Each golden avatar represented a source of faith attached to the plaques, and merging them elevated Qian Renxue’s power.

In about a year, her cultivation level had only risen from 74 to 75, but now, with this influx of faith, it surged directly to 77.

“Dad… is that you?” she whispered, sensing a familiar essence among the faith power, one that seemed to gently stroke her hair.

“It must please you to see the Angel’s Glory restored.”

A faint tear welled in her eyes.

“Mom, Jue, and Grandpa are waiting outside; I should go to them.”

After a while, with her soft voice lingering, the last of the golden energy transformed into spirit power within her.

She retracted her wings, holy light, and golden flames, donned in a golden imperial dress. She bowed slightly to the plaques, then knelt briefly to her father’s plaque before standing.

Sensing the presence of Qian Renjue and the others, she stepped out toward the entrance of Douluo Hall.
