190. The Tenseigan Is Stolen

"I don't hear it, I don't hear it, I don't hear it!"

Uchiha Gin shut out the strange noise in his ears and reached straight toward the Tenseigan

However, seeing his words were having no effect, the voice immediately revealed its true form, blocking his path to the eye.

"Stop! Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

"Hey, lady, who are you anyway?"

Looking at the elderly white-haired woman blocking him, Uchiha Gin withdrew his hand with an awkward expression, his red fish-like eyes turning up with irritation.

"Young man, you're not from around here, are you?"

The white-haired old woman, appearing as a spirit form, examined Uchiha Gin's handsome face, a hint of admiration flickering in her eyes, her tone softening a bit.

"Can't you see for yourself?"

Uchiha Gin pointed to his crimson eyes, the sinister patterns within them causing the spiritual old woman discomfort.

Her wrinkled brow furrowed as though she was trying to recall something.

"Enough, enough, stop blocking my way; I have things to do."

Seeing her in deep thought, Uchiha Gin ignored her and reached once again for the Tenseigan, preparing to activate the technique taught by Otsutsuki Hamura.

"Don't!"

The white-haired old woman hadn’t expected Uchiha Gin to be so bold, touching the Tenseigan while she was distracted.

Imagining the dire consequences, she couldn’t help but shout.

But Uchiha Gin ignored her protests, placing his hand firmly on the shimmering Tenseigan. To his surprise, it felt cool to the touch, not as hot as he expected.

"Why not, exactly? I'm ju– huh?"

Just as he was about to channel chakra, a powerful suction force emerged from the sphere, latching onto his hand and draining his chakra like an open floodgate.

"See? I warned you, but you wouldn’t listen."

The old woman sighed deeply, regret visible in her pale eyes as she watched him struggle. "Such a shame for a good-looking young man like you; you would have produced excellent offspring with Lady Tsukihime."

"Quit sighing and explain what's happening here!"

His hand firmly stuck to the Tenseigan, Uchiha Gin watched as his chakra continued to drain at 0.1 calories per second.

While not fatal, the chaotic chakra flow prevented him from activating the technique taught by Otsutsuki Hamura.

"Such a waste... Hmm? You're still able to talk? Shouldn't the Tenseigan have drained you dry by now?"

As she was lamenting, the old woman heard Uchiha Gin’s voice, loud and clear, and turned around, shocked.

"Don't ask. Call it a talent."

Seeing her stunned expression, Uchiha Gin, with his free hand, scratched his chin and gave her a playful thumbs-up.

"Even if your chakra reserves exceed the norm, you can't avoid the fate of being drained dry."

Surprised by his unusual resilience, the old woman regretted not stopping him sooner. She muttered, "If only I'd been clearer..."

"Alright, if you don’t explain, I’m going to be a dried husk soon!"

Uchiha Gin rolled his eyes, urging her to talk.

"Only those with Otsutsuki blood can touch the Tenseigan safely. Anyone else will be drained dry," she replied, shaking her head. "I'm afraid there's no saving you."

"You could've just said that!"

Relaxing a bit after hearing her explanation, Uchiha Gin dropped his intention to use force, deactivating the strange pattern in his eyes as they returned to their usual black.

"So, you finally couldn’t hold it?"

The white-haired woman sensed the dissipating power in his eyes and sighed slightly, noting that the red eye technique seemed unable to resonate with the Tenseigan.

"So close to finding the right one..." She turned away, not wanting to witness his inevitable struggle.

Yet, just as she looked away, a familiar energy suddenly appeared behind her.

Sensing the presence of Byakugan energy, the old woman turned, her eyes locking onto Uchiha Gin in utter disbelief.

"Who... what are you?"

"Me? Just a passing by Uchiha~"

His eyes now showing a distinct blue hue, Uchiha Gin switched to the Byakugan state, his chakra shifting to a pale purple.

The Tenseigan, which had been eagerly absorbing his energy, hesitated, sensing the familiar Otsutsuki chakra, and released his hand.

"Alright, be good!"

With a grin, Uchiha Gin's palms emitted a violet glow, forming intricate symbols that surged toward the golden Tenseigan, embedding themselves without causing a ripple.

On the moon's surface.

"Give it up, Akemi."

Otsutsuki Tsukihime, cloaked in blue-green chakra, looked at her bloodied opponent with sympathy. Across from her, Otsutsuki Akemi knelt on the ashen ground, clutching her dislocated shoulder, fierce resolve shining in her white eyes.

"I haven't lost yet!"

Gritting her teeth, Akemi reconnected her shoulder with a crack, a mysterious energy within her body restoring her vitality.

"Stubborn fool!" Tsukihime shook her head, a hint of exasperation in her gaze as she readied her chakra beads for a decisive strike.

"Bring it on! I can fight all day!"

Revitalized by the mysterious energy, Akemi soared toward Tsukihime with renewed strength.

"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

With a sweeping gesture, Tsukihime unleashed a powerful silver vortex from her chakra beads. The fierce winds struck Akemi, whose wings were shredded, leaving her falling in a graceful but bloody arc through the sky.

"Divine Sky Strike!"

Refusing to give in, Akemi sent massive punches from her butterfly-like wings toward Getsumei.

"Pointless."

Without breaking her stride, Tsukihime prepared to annihilate Akemi's fists with her chakra beads.

But as she raised her hand, her gudoudama suddenly vanished.

Her defenses compromised, Akemi's punches struck her, shattering her chakra cloak and sending her flying hundreds of meters away.

"Did... I hit her?"

Akemi panted, stunned by her unexpected success.

"What's going on? Did something happen to the Eye of Reincarnation(Tenseigan)?"

As Tsukihime emerged from the impact site, her eyes returned to normal, her expression alarmed.

Akemi, noticing her distress, approached.

"What happened?"

"My link with the Tenseigan has been severed!" Tsukihime replied, trying unsuccessfully to reconnect. The implication was clear.

"The Tenseigan has been stolen!"

Meanwhile, within the artificial moon, the once-glowing Tenseigan was now a quiet stone sphere. The old woman, shocked by the change, grabbed Uchiha Gin’s sleeve.

"What did you do?"

"What could I do? Just got it to quiet down."

Gin scratched his head, baffled by her panic. "If some Otsutsuki genius decided to push the moon back to Earth, where’s my peace in that?"

"Why has it lost contact with Lady Tsukihime?"

Still holding onto his sleeve, she demanded answers.

"Uh, I’m just the hired help. If you want an explanation, why not ask my boss?"

He shut his eyes, trying to connect with the observing Otsutsuki Hamura. " Uncle Ancestor? Here to report in... huh, where'd he go?"
