481. He's Your Son

"Ah—!"

The Blue Silver Grass pierced through Tang San's shoulder, tightening relentlessly.

A prolonged scream echoed in the air.

Tang San's bloodshot eyes widened, fists clenched, teeth grinding as waves of pain caused his entire body to convulse. His limbs twisted in agony, struggling to break free.

In a moment of desperation, Tang San seemed to grasp a bit of control over his Eight Spider Lances.

The Blue Silver Grass binding him was severed.

Squelch!

"Great!"

A glimmer of hope appeared on Tang San's face as he quickly moved to sever the grass binding his legs.

However, a woman's voice suddenly echoed in his ears, sending chills down his spine.

"Still daring to fight back?!"

At her words, the Eight Spider Lances froze behind Tang San.

He raised his head in terror, staring at the plant-like soul beast before him.

His pale lips quivered as his raspy voice trembled.
"You can talk? A... a hundred-thousand-year soul beast!"

Snap!

A whip-like branch cracked through the air, striking Tang San's face in an instant. Blood splattered as a deep mark was left, forcing another scream of agony from him.

"Argh!"

Snap!
One after another, the Blue Silver Grass lashed out, relentlessly striking Tang San.

Flustered, Tang San raised his arms to block the blows, the Eight Spider Lances shielding him as best they could.

"These things are truly irritating."

Seeing all her attacks being blocked, the Blue Silver Empress grew visibly annoyed.

Ten strands of Blue Silver Grass darted forward, wrapping tightly around Tang San's eight spider legs and two arms, pulling them taut.

"No! Get away from me!"

Tang San shouted in panic, his voice filled with despair.

Faced with the threat of death, he pushed through the dislocation of his shoulder, raising his right hand. A purple soul ring shimmered, releasing his third soul skill, Spiderweb Restraint, toward the Blue Silver Empress.

But unfortunately for Tang San, such a move was nothing more than a petty trick to Ah Yin.

She shredded the web into tatters with ease.

The sticky remnants of the shattered web rebounded, splattering across Tang San's face. The slight corrosiveness caused his skin to twitch in pain, but he had no time to care. His horrified gaze remained fixed on the scene before him.

"Soul... a soul beast transforming into a human!"

"Disgusting trash. I haven't even started, and you dare fight back?"

As the icy voice fell, Ah Yin's graceful figure emerged from the blooming Blue Silver Grass lotus.

Blue hair, blue eyes, exuding nobility.

Her flawless figure was tightly wrapped in a flowing gown of blue and gold, emanating a subtle, refreshing scent of grass.

Staring at the unparalleled beauty before him, Tang San felt only cold dread. His body trembled uncontrollably, devoid of even the faintest warmth.

What was going on?
Why had this suspected hundred-thousand-year soul beast suddenly targeted him?

Ah Yin looked at the restrained Tang San with disdain.

Lifting her jade-like hand, the surrounding Blue Silver Grass obediently presented her with a syringe-like Millennium Soul Ring Extractor.

Holding the syringe, Ah Yin stepped forward.

The Blue Silver Grass slowly lowered Tang San to the ground, wrapping his legs completely.

"What... what are you trying to do? Let me go!"

Tang San struggled desperately, fear flashing in his eyes as Ah Yin approached.

"You'll find out soon enough."

Ah Yin smiled faintly, her beauty breathtaking, though to Tang San, it was nothing but horrifying.

As the syringe neared his right arm, Tang San's expression twisted in panic.

"No! Stay away! Stay away—"

Squelch!

Under Tang San's terrified gaze, the needle pierced into his flesh.

The overwhelming fear made Tang San's body convulse uncontrollably.

His Blue Silver Grass Martial Soul unexpectedly appeared on its own!

A white, white, and purple soul ring spun around him.

Ah Yin’s face lit up with a smug smile as she prepared to pull the plunger, but at that moment, Tang Hao finally arrived at the scene.

Seeing the familiar silhouette, his eyes filled with emotion, and he immediately called out:
"Ah Yin!"

The soft, raspy voice cut through the air, harsh to the ears.

Ah Yin frowned, ignoring him as she continued pulling the plunger.

"That useless eunuch? Sister Bing will take care of him!"

Tang San watched helplessly as the purple soul ring rapidly faded, dimming into a yellow hue.

His eyes widened with disbelief, and a heart-wrenching scream erupted:
"How is this possible? This... how is this possible?!"

"My soul ring! Stop! Stop right now! Please, no!"

Hearing Tang San's desperate cries, Tang Hao, whose view was blocked by Ah Yin, hesitated briefly before rushing forward.

When he saw the scene clearly, his eyes widened in shock as he shouted:
"Little San?!"

In response, Tang San roared hysterically:
"Ah—my soul ring! I'll kill you! Kill you!!!"

His thousand-year soul ring, barely obtained, had already turned white!

Tang Hao witnessed this unfold and was struck dumb. His mind buzzed as he trembled, his voice breaking into a shrill scream:
"Ah Yin! What are you doing?!"

Ah Yin calmly withdrew the syringe and turned to Tang Hao with a cold glare.

"Get lost! Don't interfere!"

With those words, she replaced the syringe with a new one.

At that moment, Tang San, his heart ashen with despair, glimpsed Tang Hao through tear-filled eyes.

He had no time to question why Tang Hao was there; his tears flowed uncontrollably as he cried out:
"Father! Father! It’s me, Little San! Save me! Please save me!"

"Little San!"

Tang Hao was distraught, rushing to rescue him.

But Ah Yin wasn’t about to let that happen.

Dozens of Blue Silver Grass vines lashed out at Tang Hao, forcing him to retreat.

"Ah Yin! Don’t you recognize me?"

Tears welled in Tang Hao’s eyes, his voice hoarse and tinged with sobs.

"I don't recognize disgusting, genderless things," Ah Yin replied, glancing at Tang Hao with disdain before stabbing the syringe into Tang San’s left arm.

"Ah Yin... you!"

Tang Hao extended a trembling hand, his entire body shaking.

"Ah—!"

Tang San watched as his Clear Sky Hammer Martial Soul appeared, letting out another anguished scream.

His pupils quivered as he cried out desperately:
"Father, save me! Save my soul ring! I don’t want to become a cripple!"

Hearing Tang San's heartrending plea, Tang Hao looked at the two purple soul rings on the Clear Sky Hammer, frozen in shock.

As he saw the second ring begin to fade, he snapped out of it. Shouting frantically, he brandished the Clear Sky Hammer, its two yellow, two purple, and five black rings vibrating the air.

He swung it toward the Blue Silver Grass binding Tang San!

In that instant, the entire forest’s temperature plummeted.

Frost spread across the leaves and grass, and moisture in the air condensed into mist.

"Eternal Freeze Domain!"

A crisp, commanding voice rang out.

The surrounding mist rapidly gathered around Tang Hao, freezing him solid in an instant.

A blue-and-white scorpion descended from the sky.

Boom!

It slammed into Tang Hao with immense force, sending him flying!

Blood seeped through the ice as it shattered into pieces.

Tang Hao broke free from the ice but skidded far along the ground before coming to a halt.

Raising his head, he looked at the scorpion now before him, his eyes filled with shock as he exclaimed:
"A hundred-thousand-year soul beast?!"

"Disgusting genderless thing, hand over your kidney already!"

The Ice Emperor snapped its claws, its voice crisp and icy.

"Ah! Father!"

Tang San watched as the purple faded into yellow, snot and tears streaming down his face as he wailed pitifully.

Tang Hao shouted in anguish:
"Ah Yin! Stop this! He’s your own son!"
