282. Summoned Suddenly

“Swish, swish...”

After finishing the plan in his hands, Uchiha Gin slowly raised his head, staring at the elegantly dressed Uchiha clansman before him, who looked more like a noble than a ninja. With a look of astonishment, he asked:

“Did you write this plan?”

The trembling clansman below shivered at the question, then raised his head with a face full of fear.
“Yes, Lord Gin, I wrote it.”

“You... While your strength is average, your talent in this area is impressive!”

Uchiha Gin’s eyes scanned the man briefly, gauging his team leader-level strength with ease. He casually handed the plan to Uchiha Tajima sitting beside him.
“Uncle, you’ve struck gold. This guy has a knack for making money.”

"Plan for Establishing a Maritime Transport Company in the Land of Waves"

Looking at the cover of the plan, Uchiha Tajima was puzzled.
“Isn’t this the fake plan we used to scam money out of that Senju Tobirama kid?”

“No, this plan is feasible. It can make a fortune.”

Gin explained confidently. The current state of the ninja world was heading toward a long period of peace. It was the perfect time to capitalize on the widespread recovery and monopolize maritime transport—an industry that could generate massive daily profits.

“But the Land of Water won’t easily give up their control of the sea routes, will they?”

As someone experienced in major political dealings, Tajima quickly spotted the key issue. Compared to the Land of Waves, the Land of Water had a much larger presence at sea. Even though it had suffered losses against the Land of Earth and the Whirlpools, it still controlled vast northern waters.

“The Land of Water? They can barely take care of themselves right now. They can’t maintain control of those sea routes.”

After their conflict with the Land of Earth, the Land of Water had been left weakened, burdened by war debts and the cost of acquiring tailed beasts. Their resources were so drained that even the ninja hounds of the Mist Village were rumored to be working overtime.

“Alright, if you believe it’s viable, then make it happen.”

Tajima, trusting his extraordinary nephew, immediately gave his support.

“Here, I’m putting you in charge of this project,” Gin said, handing the plan back to the nervous clansman. “The dividends for the clan depend on you. Don’t let us down.”

“Thank you, Lord Gin, thank you, Lord Tajima!”

The clansman, overwhelmed with excitement, respectfully accepted the plan. It wasn’t a hastily written proposal—it was a carefully crafted plan he had been perfecting for years, waiting for an opportunity like this.

“But... what about the money from Senju Tobirama?”

Realizing the funds in his hands were technically stolen, the clansman hesitated. If the maritime company succeeded, Tobirama would undoubtedly want his share, which felt worse than suffering a personal loss.

“Keep it as startup capital,” Gin said casually. Free angel investments were rare; why waste one?

“But I promised Tobirama dividends...”

The clansman was torn, regretting that he had set such an early dividend date.

“No problem. Stabilize him with an initial payout. After that, tell him the company needs funds for operations and promise payouts after profitability.”

“Will that work?”

The clansman doubted the plan, aware of Tobirama’s cunning and skeptical nature.

“It will. Share periodic financial reports, draw big dreams for him, and send some holiday gifts now and then. That guy won’t suspect a thing.”

After all, Tobirama wouldn’t live long enough to enjoy many dividends. The money was better spent rewarding themselves.

“Oh, and involve the Land of Whirlpools in this. Don’t go it alone.”

Remembering their good neighbors, Gin added a final note of caution.

“Understood!”

The Uchiha clansman knew well the close ties between their clan and the Whirlpools. Opportunities to make money should be shared with brothers.

Tajima chuckled at this and teased Gin.
“Haha, when are you planning to marry the Whirlpools’ daimyo?”

“Uh... after peace comes to the ninja world...”

After the clansman left enthusiastically, Tajima and Gin continued discussing the current state of Konoha.

“You’re saying Madara wants to become Hokage?”

“Yes, my cousin has even started working unpaid just to be close to Hashirama. I can’t stop him!”

Finally finding a chance to complain, Gin wasted no time reporting Madara’s antics.

“And the clan? He’s just ignoring it now?”

Tajima was visibly upset. He blamed himself for not insisting Madara marry early, leading to this embarrassing situation.

“Fortunately, Izuna is holding the clan together. He’s been doing an excellent job.”

“What about Izuna? Isn’t he of marrying age? Don’t tell me he’s still single!”

Would the Uchiha bloodline end with them?

“Well, I did hear he’s interested in a Uchiha civilian girl...”

Gin recalled recent rumors about Izuna’s attention toward the young daughter of a fruit vendor. The issue was that the girl was only 14, while Izuna was nearly 30. The gossip had not been kind.

“Civilian or not, a woman’s a woman. Handle it. I want a grandchild by next year!”

As an elder, Tajima left the matter of Izuna’s marriage to Gin.

The two continued to talk about various matters concerning Konoha until the sun dipped below the horizon. Gin finally stood, preparing to leave.

“I should go. My family might get suspicious.”

“Visit often, Gin.”

“I will, uncle.”

Gin nodded, activating the Flying Thunder God Technique to return to Konoha. A golden light flashed as his figure vanished.

However, upon reaching Konoha, Gin didn’t reappear where he intended.

For the first time, his tried-and-true Flying Thunder God Technique had gone awry.

Just as he entered the space-time tunnel, a black hole emerged, pulling him with immense force. Completely caught off guard, Gin was sucked into the vortex.

The violent turbulence made him feel nauseous, as though his insides were being churned. Luckily, the experience only lasted for a brief moment.

“Plop~”

With a soft thud, Uchiha Gin landed on a cushioned surface. Rising to his feet and steadying his slightly dizzy head, he opened his eyes slowly, curious to see who had the audacity to ambush him.

“Who dares—”

“Hmph, didn’t I say I could pull him over?”

The cold, clear voice of a woman froze Gin in place mid-sentence. Looking up, he immediately recognized two familiar figures. Instinctively, he swallowed hard.

“Gulp~”

The sound echoed clearly in the silent space.

It was only then that Uchiha Gin realized he was in the grand palace of the Otsutsuki clan on the moon. The familiar decor confirmed it—he was standing on Otsutsuki Tsukihime’s star observation platform.

“Hey, long time no see.”

Feeling the weight of two pairs of pure white eyes staring at him, Gin felt uneasy. Mustering his courage, he forced a casual greeting.
“Akemi, Tsukihime, it’s been a while. I’ve... really missed you.”

“Gin~”

Before he could react, Otsutsuki Akemi leapt toward him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck. Her intoxicatingly mature and elegant aura pressed against him as her stunningly beautiful face, filled with longing, leaned close.

“You never come to see me!”

Though her age was incomprehensible, Akemi's demeanor resembled that of a young girl in love, clinging to Gin like a happy burden.

“I’ve been busy lately and was planning to visit you soon,” Gin said, scratching his face awkwardly. He couldn’t ignore the softness pressing against his chest, his expression conflicted as his eyes involuntarily drifted downward.

So soft...

“What about me?”

Interrupted by Tsukihime’s icy voice, Gin looked over to see her face darkening. She had been standing aside, ignored for far too long. Was this curly-haired thief only interested in that?

“You pulled me here, didn’t you?”

Calming himself, Gin gently comforted the clinging Akemi and turned his attention to Tsukihime. Her expression remained cold, her milky white eyes unreadable. Gin wasn’t sure if she was rolling her eyes at him in disdain.

“It was Tsukihime who pulled you here. I didn’t expect her to succeed,” Akemi chimed in with a playful smile.

“When did you get an ability like that?”

Gin was surprised. Being forcefully dragged from a spatial tunnel was no small feat. Did Tsukihime awaken a system of her own? Was she planning to dominate the world?

“Tenseigan.”

Tsukihime’s calm gaze locked onto Gin as she answered in her pure, ethereal voice. Subtly, she straightened her posture, her expression unreadable.

“Oh, so that’s it.”

Realization dawned on Gin. The Tenseigan—a legendary celestial eye with spatial abilities. It made sense now.

“What’s the reason for pulling me here?”

Now understanding how he ended up on the moon, Gin was curious. His arranged meeting with Akemi wasn’t for a few days, so why was he summoned early?

“It’s Akemi's idea,” Tsukihime answered expressionlessly.

“Huh? When did I say that?”

Startled, Akemi turned to Tsukihime, her eyes full of confusion.

“Oh?”

Gin’s gaze sharpened. Akemi wouldn’t lie, which meant the culprit could only be...

“Hmph, let’s fight!”

Now exposed, Tsukihime didn’t bother hiding her intentions. The real reason she summoned Gin was to challenge him.

“Wait, what? Why fight for no reason? Can’t we just sit down and have tea instead?”

Gin, who loathed unnecessary conflicts, immediately protested. Fighting was one of his least favorite activities—especially when there was no real grievance.

“I need to prove that the Otsutsuki clan is the rightful bearer of the Byakugan!”

Tsukihime’s voice echoed as a greenish-blue chakra cloak enveloped her elegant figure. Her flowing white hair began to rise as her pure white eyes transformed into familiar yet otherworldly Tenseigan pupils.

[Otsutsuki Tsukihime – Tenseigan Mode]

“You already had your fun fighting Kuroko. Why are you itching for another round so soon?” Gin muttered, exasperated.

Looking at the battle-ready Ōtsutsuki Tsukihime, Uchiha Gin scratched his curly head in exasperation.

"Hmph~ That woman only had some troublesome dōjutsu. In every other way, she was just a weakling."

He chuckled internally. If she hadn’t awakened the ability to summon her ancestor’s statue, this little brat would’ve been sliced to pieces by Kuroko's ‘mecha.’

"Now that I’ve fully mastered the abilities of the Tenseigan, it’s time to decide who the true heir of the Ōtsutsuki clan is," Tsukihime declared, her Tenseigan-activated eyes locked on Gin.

To her, someone like Gin, who could use the Tenseigan’s powers, needed to prove their worthiness to bear the Ōtsutsuki name.

"True heir? That’s not me—don’t spout nonsense!" Gin instinctively recoiled at the phrase, "true heir." The mix of bloodlines within him was still merging and evolving.

When the process was complete, he would likely ascend to become the ninja world’s first pure-blooded alien.

"Enough talk," Tsukihime said coldly. Her gaze sharpened as her pristine white hand raised, summoning several chakra orbs that floated around her.

"Wait a second!" Gin quickly raised his hand to halt the brewing fight.

Tsukihime, unfazed by his plea, rotated the orbs faster. A visible vortex began forming in her palm.

"Hey, big sister, you’re using the Tenseigan’s power. What do you expect me to fight with?" Gin protested.

The Tenseigan, which resided on the moon, had told him that he couldn’t use its power until the original owner was finished. Now, this left him in an awkward spot.

“…”

Tsukihime faltered for a moment. Though her icy expression remained unchanged, her aura visibly softened.

"Victory is inevitable for me, with the power of the Tenseigan," she declared after a pause, as if trying to save face.

"Yes, yes, Lady Tsukihime is the best," Gin said, opting for flattery to de-escalate.

"Who allowed you to call me that? Address me as Queen!" Tsukihime snapped, her anger boiling over. Without hesitation, she hurled the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion directly at Gin.

"Be careful, Gin!" shouted Ōtsutsuki Akemi, her face pale with worry. She hadn’t expected Tsukihime to be so serious. Wasn’t the goal to improve their relationship with Gin for the sake of the Ōtsutsuki clan’s future?

Gin sighed, his expression a mix of resignation and annoyance. "I guess there’s no avoiding it."

As the attack approached, Gin opened his tired eyes, revealing a crimson Sharingan. One of his eyes, adorned with a rotating pattern of tomoe, transformed into a complex and sinister Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Good, I can finally test it in battle," Gin muttered, a sharp aura emanating from him.

The air around him turned icy, causing Tsukihime to flinch. The oppressive feeling of Gin’s dōjutsu reminded her of an earlier fight with a black-haired girl—but this was far stronger.

"Spectre," Gin commanded softly.

A shadow rippled in front of him, and from it emerged a figure—dark-skinned, clad in a tight white kimono, and exuding a mix of regal beauty and playfulness. Her gray-white eyes gleamed as she gazed at her surroundings.

"Who’s that?" Akemi gasped, taken aback by the sudden appearance of the woman.

Tsukihime frowned, studying the figure. She couldn’t fathom how Gin had pulled off such a feat.

"Hmph, surprised? She’s my dōjutsu creation, Spectre. Every move she makes is under my control," Gin said proudly.

Raising his hand theatrically, Gin prepared to command Rangyoku to demonstrate her power.

But something was off. Spectre held weapons—high-frequency vibrating blades in both hands.

"Wait, what’s that?!" Gin’s voice cracked as he pointed at the weapons.

Spectre ignored him, maintaining her battle-ready stance and gazing calmly at Tsukihime.

"You curly-haired thief… You’re a pervert," Tsukihime muttered, her face flushed as she backed away slightly, recognizing the shape of the weapons.

"Don’t misunderstand! This is all a huge mistake!" Gin stammered, his face reddening as he realized the implications.

"Save it, you degenerate thief," Tsukihime retorted coldly, though her gaze lingered warily on Rangyoku.

Spectre, unfazed by the tension, adjusted her stance. She stared at Tsukihime, a hint of admiration flickering in her eyes.

"Let her see the strength of our bond, Spectre," Gin commanded, shaking off his embarrassment and bracing himself for battle.

Tsukihime’s eyes glinted with determination as she increased her chakra output. "Don’t underestimate me!"

The battle was on.
