Any questions?
Added 2024-05-06 07:26:06 +0000 UTCWe're going to do some more VerilyPodcasty and we would like to do an episode answering questions from patrons, a little Q&A! So please, if you have any questions about youtube, our videos, topics we've discussed, or anything really, please drop them here or maybe send them in a DM.
We will read your username when replying to the questions, unless you specify that you'd rather we not. Thank youuuuuuuu!

I know this was posted a while ago, but I saw Deadpool and Wolverine recently and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want your take. I have a lot of queer friends who love it, but I find it homophobic. Deadpool makes sexual jokes about Wolverine and other characters, but it's always played off as a joke, and it's pretty easy to believe that he doesn't mean what he's saying. The movie makes it clear (to me) that the only person he has any true or serious feelings for is his ex girlfriend. He never once is serious about Wolverine in a romantic or sexual way. I feel like someone who is extremely homophobic can still love Deadpool because his queerness is always played as a "no homo" joke. Also please don't read my name. It's my real name whoops. I don't know where you stand, but I know you will have a reasoned opinion.

2024-08-14 01:22:57 +0000 UTCIn a completely random order: - Has the influx of viewers and patrons changed your way to approach topics you select, and then research, writing, filming and broadcasting? - You've mentioned occasionally differences in LGBTQIA+ organising in Slovenia vs. UK/US/'Western' countries (and personally I think the non-Big-Five-centric point of view of your Eurovision video was a very enlightening aspect). Is there something you would like to highlight / shout-out in terms of queer organising in Slovenia (including possibly in a future video)? - From my viewer/listener perspective, it seems like VerilyPodcasty has (sometimes) been a way to test or at least approach future video topics in a relatively chill form (which I am all here for). Have you usually already been researching for a while, or is this more of a "let's discuss from the top of our heads and see if this'll work" kind of things? Do you feel it has helped you better prepare for videos?
