The point isn't really that capitalism *exists* in the game, it's about whether or not this game has anything coherent to *say* about capitalism. We used specific examples of it failing to make a coherent comment on capitalism in the video, as well as instances that were revelatory about the politics of the developers. I'm open to hearing a compelling argument for the game making a genuinely interesting comment on capitalism, if you have one. But it is essentially a commercial game commodifying the aesthetic of punk without adopting any of its ethos. I like driving the cars though! Vroom vroom!

I don't think this game is "terrible" by any means. Looking at it from a queer perspective I can see how one could yearn for more, but there are plenty of great things all throughout the game? Especially some interesting transhumanist ideas and questions about technology. And I don't think the game needs to be explicitly anti-capitalist and spell it out constantly to be so, capitalism and corporations affect literally everything story-wise. I really feel like this video completely missed the mark, I'm very disappointed.

I have not played the game, but now that hypothetical scenario of what if I was propositioned by a person I was formerly obsessed with, but now they are a ghost possessing a body of a different gender, is going to haunt me.
