New video! Eurovision is Rigged for Israel
Added 2025-03-29 18:11:45 +0000 UTCWhile we have been working on our Next Big Video Essay (coming soon to an internet near you), we wanted to try to put something together to boost the voice of the Eurovision boycott again this year. Last year’s video on Eurovision didn’t do as well as our videos usually do, so we didn’t get to spread the message as far and wide as we would’ve liked to. So this time we’ve tried to make something more clickable, more watchable, with a slightly different target audience in mind: the Eurovision fans who are still refusing to boycott. So here’s hoping! 🤞

I will say though, that I don't think Ogham has to be read backwards. I speak Irish but don't have much practise reading Ogham. But as far as I know, it just reads bottom to top, same way that latin alphabets generally read top to bottom. And I think she wrote it in English, just using the Ogham alphabet, so that bit is inaccurate. Just a note from an ancient (non-)medieval Irish speaker in your audience. The fact that she took it off kinda moots my point though, doesn't it?

Hopefully we can get broadcasters to withdraw and/or contestants to refuse to participate unless Israel’s participation is prohibited …
