A Working BlueSky Bookmark System With Obsidian
Added 2023-11-16 09:51:24 +0000 UTCSo, recently I've created a working BlueSky Bookmark system with Obsidian because BlueSky didn't implement the bookmark system... yet.
For those who doesn't know what is Obsidian, is basically a note-taking app that is fully customizable. So... let's create that thing!
Install Obsidian
Of course, you have to install the Obsidian. Go get that app in this link.
Create A New Vault
Once you installed it, create a new vault, name it, and put it somewhere you like.
Install Plugin & Change The Theme
To make a working bookmark system, we need some plugins. Thankfully, Obsidian have a lot of cool plugins that we can use. Thanks to the community.
Plugins that we need to install are:
- Buttons
- Local Images Plus
- Image Toolkit
- Dataview
- Templater
- Banners (Optional)
First, we need to install a theme called "Minimal", and here is how to get it:
- Type ctrl+, to open settings
- Go to "Appearance"
- Search "Themes" and click "Manage"
- Search for "Minimal"
- Click "Install and Use"
Now to install the plugin that we need:
- Type ctrl+, to open settings
- Go to "Community Plugin"
- Click "Turn On Community Plugin"
- Search for "Community Plugins", then click "Browse"
- Search for every plugins that we need, click it, click Install, then click Enable
This is what it should likes in the Community Plugin tab now
Plugin Settings
Templater
- Go to Settings > Templater
- Fill the "Template Folder Location" with "Templates"
- Turn on "Trigger Templater on new file creation"
Creating The Structure
Make your directory structure like this.
Important Step!
Right click on the "Media" folder and click "Set as attachment folder"
Now download some files that I put it in attachment below, and put it in the directory like this.
