MagicaCSG Feature: Groove Intersection Blending
Added 2025-05-02 22:01:51 +0000 UTCIn the next update, groove blending can be also applied to intersection Boolean.
You can use blending to add bevels on the top and bottom sides as well.
It's useful to create curved objects like cloths without showing the contact surface.

it’s fine because groove intersection is a new feature:)

I've been performing this effect by assigning invisible materials as a hull for the groove blend, and not only will this free up one of the material slots, it'll probably speed the render AND remove the subtle render artifacts caused by my workaround. Thanks for working on this!

2025-05-03 01:24:18 +0000 UTCWhoa! I never even thought of using that technique. I've been playing around with basically everything EXCEPT groove blending. Wow. I'm such a fucking idiot ;3 Or actualy to be honest I was using groove but not int-groove so it's kind of embarrassing to tell you what I was using it for. (a 3d smudge tool) Was I doing it wrong or what?!
