This is actually the first time i tried using a pencil sketch first, but usually i only draw with painting brushes for this style
Cvs1 Sketch: Self explanatory, my usual go-to when i start pieces with this style. It's a simple flat and angled brush that helps me put shapes in quickly, i also use it for a little bit of shading super early on.
G-Pen [Hard Edge]: My main brush for this. It's a modified version of the 70% G-Pen, tuned so the brush strokes don't blend in as easily. And since it also has anti-alising turned off, i must be more mindful and decisive with my brushwork, otherwise it will look a bit smudgy/dirty with consecutive brush strokes that won't blend into each other.
Square Pen: Mainly for outlines and clean-up, It also has anti-alising turned off. I used to sketch with this one and it's useful for making more clear lines at that stage still, but i like how it feels and that it erases pretty easily when used in overpainting, so i decided to create the CvS1 Sketch one and leave this one intact.
