Welp, somehow I went most of my life without ever seeing The Nanny, but as it turns out the show's pretty good. So good I made a whole video about it!
My latest video is all about how Fran Drescher managed to set her show apart when it comes to queer storylines, at a time when TV was not particularly welcoming. Mark your calendars for the premiere over on my YouTube channel -- Sunday May 2 at 11am pacific. The premiere will start with a livestream where we can meetup and talk about the show, the gay 90s, and Fran's fascinating connection to the queer community -- then at noon the new video goes live. Particularly liked the way you contrasted them to other shows from your other videos. Thanks for the reminder, and thanks to Fran for creating them.
