As I mentioned in my last video, I came across a ton of fascinating stories while researching my Rocko video that I just didn’t have room for in the final script, and I wanted to share them with you. Here's another bonus video for Patreon backers!
A few days ago, I showed you some of the eye-opening queer coding in golden-age animation from the 30s to the 60s, and now I want to show you what came next, and why Nickelodeon came along at just the right time to push the envelope.

(Pretty sure that’s where I saw Windaria and that Seven Cities of Gold anime). I missed a lot of their more innovative shows, apparently, because the only one you mentioned I was super familiar with was Rugrats.
