" Dear Mother, Ah, Hæňgaram, I've dreamt of this city many times. I heard the stories as I sailed across the sea from Ilgenshire to here. I heard of mighty heroes battling against the vile forces of D'orn, never asking for much but always promoting the greatest virtues of excellence. In the lands of that empire, no bandit, pirate, or scum of the earth can resist. There is only good and justice there. When I told you that I wanted to be a soldier here, you was ecstatic... and worried as most mothers are. However, you need not be worried! A painter can't even hope to paint the beauty of the emperor's great empire. Buildings range from big to wide. Glorious marble and volcanic ash are driven into every corner of the empire. The Wings of the Emperor's Citadel fly high and strong, bearing the wings upon our crests and upon our hearts. Mother, I hope that one day I'll be able to afford enough to move you here and away from Ilgenshire. Father would not have wanted a great woman like you to rust away. Rather, you should see the beauty of Hæňgaram as I do! The waters are crystal clear, the fields are covered my beautiful mountains of white crystal. If the world was to fall asunder and the evil hearts of men would take over them, then I have no doubts that this great empire would be the last bastion of hope! I pray the gods find you well, mother! I will see you soon during my next leave!"
-Your son, Glaemir.
Hæňgaram, ulus salvid fu repisos evim civi ip onvos! Hæňgaram, may the beautiful city stand before before our hearts and may we always remember the greatest light shall cover the darkest shadows!
A letter found on the bed of a Hæňgaram soldier.
Hello my patrons,
I hope you all enjoy these little side stories and tidbits I've started to add into some of the pictures. This image of Hæňgaram was done by Kiofour from Fiverr. All in all, I enjoyed the process and I hoped to give it a lot more depth. What you see is one of the main parts of the empire.
